This role is operating as a "Self-Employed Contractor " and you will be covering work as a Food Safety Auditor in Malaga and Tenerife. We are looking for 3 Food Safety Auditors for this exciting retail safety work.
This is not an employed position and offers work between 1 and 2 days a week and you MUST live in Spain for this work and be able to speak Spanish and English
You will be responsible for delivering non accredited food safety audits for the Retail client in your region of work.
You will need:
Relevant courses include sciences or food technology.
2 years experience in auditing
Training will be offered for these specific audits.
You will deliver high quality assessments/audits and inspections that meet the needs of customers’ specific requirements in an efficient and professional manner
Through providing effective support you will be responsible for:
- Providing your monthly availability for the proposed work.
- Plan and manage the work given within the timescales agreed with the client.
- To complete retail food safety audits in accordance with legal and client driven requirements in line with specific country codes.
- To complete audit reports immediately after audit and to submit on the day of the audit.
- Ensure any errors on the reports are corrected and updated when requested within 12 hours of the request.
- To keep your Line Manager / Lead Auditor appraised of client requests during audits.
- Allow Shadow and Witness Audits from the client, your lead auditor or senior team as required.
- To maintain Continous Personal Development (CPD) and take on additional training as required when the client updates the audit work.
- Maintain a high level of IT skills in line with equipment and software used in the business and provide your own laptop or tablet for this work.
