WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS 🌟
As Manychat continues to scale globally, clear, consistent, and compelling internal communication is critical to keeping our teams aligned, engaged, and informed.
This role exists to own and elevate internal communication across the entire company, ensuring that our people understand our strategy, priorities, and culture and not just what is happening, but why it matters. Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, this role acts as a strategic partner to leadership and a trusted voice for the company.
What You’ll Do 🚀
Own Company-Wide Internal Communications
- Develop and execute internal communication strategies, plans, and campaigns that align with our goals, culture, and values
- Ensure clarity, consistency, relevance and quality across all internal messaging
- Own internal communications for company-wide initiatives and collaborate with functions on theirs to alignment and the same tone of voice
- Collaborate with Chief People Officer and other stakeholders to understand their communication needs and priorities
- Draft and edit leadership messages, company updates, and strategic announcements
- Shape and deliver clear internal narratives that support leadership communications during periods of change, growth, or organizational evolution.
- Own and continuously optimize the internal communications channels, clearly defining the purpose, audience, and use cases for each channel (e.g. Slack, newsletters, Notion, all-hands.
- Establish clear communication rhythms and cadences across the company
- Create, edit, and curate high-quality written content tailored to diverse audiences
- Partner with People, Branding, and other teams on people-related and change communications
- Translate complex or sensitive topics into clear, empathetic, people centric and actionable messages
- Reinforce company culture, values, and engagement through storytelling
- Track engagement and effectiveness of internal communications
- Gather feedback and continuously improve messaging, channels, and formats
- Identify communication gaps and proactively address them
- Staying up-to-date with the latest trends, best practices, and technologies
- Employees feel informed, aligned, and connected across teams and regions
- Leadership messages are clear, consistent, and well-received
- Internal communication is proactive rather than reactive
- Change initiatives are well understood and smoothly communicated
- Internal communication channels are trusted, relevant, and engaging
You’ll Need
- Proven experience in internal communications, scale-up communications, or a similar role
- Native-level English (written and spoken)
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills
- Experience partnering with senior leaders and cross-functional teams
- Strong editorial judgment and attention to detail
- Comfort working in a global, fast-paced, and distributed environment
- High ownership mindset with the ability to work independently
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, execute, and evaluate communication initiatives on time and on budget
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with different stakeholders
- Ability to think strategically, creatively, and critically to solve complex communication challenges
