Operational Ownership
In this role, I will be assisting our Wellness & Experience team.
I will abide by Six Senses principles, core values, best practices, guidelines and objectives, while respecting other cultures and nationalities and projecting a positive and proactive position to help build and maintain a strong, loyal team.
My duties and responsibilities will include:
- Prepare, organize, and set up all activities within the hotel, ensuring every setup meets operational and brand standards.
- Plan and maintain weekly activity calendars, coordinating schedules to maximize guest engagement and smooth operation.
- Handle guest reservations for all activities, excursions, and recreational events, ensuring proper follow-up and confirmation.
- Communicate effectively between the organizer, supervisor, and all hosts within the department, ensuring seamless coordination.
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information about available activities, gym usage, equipment rules, and property facilities.
- Present and introduce the activity schedule or compendium to guests, suggesting suitable activities for a personalized experience and answering all related inquiries.
- Interact with guests proactively, using verbal and non-verbal communication to respond to requests and ensure each activity is completed satisfactorily.
- Check, clean, and maintain all activity and recreational equipment; report any damage or excessive wear to the Wellness & Experience Manager for replacement.
- Liaise with other hotel departments to ensure smooth execution of activities, accurate bookings, proper billing, and adherence to schedules.
- Handle guests’ feedback, comments, and follow-ups professionally, reporting patterns or significant issues to management.
- Execute all Wellness & Experience department tasks in line with operational guidelines, brand standards, and quality expectations.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of all safety, security, and emergency procedures relevant to the role.
- Ensure all information regarding activities and facilities is accurate, current, and accessible to staff and guests.
- Promote and upsell all property facilities and activities to enhance guest experience and revenue opportunities.
- Attend all required meetings, training sessions, and workshops to maintain and enhance professional skills.
- Adhere strictly to LQA standards and brand policies.

To execute the position of Activity GEM Trainee, I am studying a hospitality diploma/degree from a hospitality school. Having experience in a similar role it will be a plus.
Technical skills include MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. I am also familiar with various hotel systems including PMS.
I have an excellent command of written and spoken English and a little bit of Spanish.

Operational Ownership
In this role, I will assume responsibility for the efficient operation of all Front of House tasks to provide exceptional products and services within brand operating standards. It includes:
- Guest Welcome: Greet guests upon arrival and provide a warm welcome experience.
- VIP Recognition: Maintain and share relevant information about suite guests for the VIP recognition program.
- Guest History Management: Input and update guest information in the PMS, ensuring accurate guest history for future stays.
- Complaint Handling: Address guest complaints and suggestions promptly, logging them for follow-up until resolution.
- Anticipating Needs: Identify service trends and gaps to enhance the overall guest experience.
- Pre-Arrival Familiarization: Review guest profiles and histories before arrival to ensure seamless engagement.
- Department Coordination: Notify relevant departments about guest arrivals and preferences.
- Transfer Assistance: Coordinate guest transfers to and from the hotel and ensure readiness of welcome amenities
- VIP Engagement: Meet with guests listed in the VIP report to assess their experience and satisfaction.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Coordinate guest requirements across departments for optimal satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities for upselling rooms, late checkouts, and in-resort activities to drive revenue.
- Administrative Efficiency: Prepare and submit operational reports on time, ensuring effective departmental administration.
- Training Participation: Attend meetings and training sessions as required and assist in organizing team involvement.
- To upkeep Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation. My performance benchmarks are maintained and exceeded.
- To strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.
- To use multiple platforms, including our Six Senses App, at the same time while managing various pieces of information.
- To be flexible in own schedule between mornings, evenings and/or night shifts, including weekdays, weekends, festive days and/or any other as per operational needs.
- To perform any additional tasks given by Supervisors or above in the organization.

To execute the position of Front of House trainee, I am studying a degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or another related field. It is beneficial to have previous experience in customer service roles, such as receptionist, concierge or others.
I am familiar with luxury hotel standards and guest service expectations. I am a personally involved, visible and proactive with excellent organizational skills. I have an intuitive sense of product and service quality, a passion for excellence and an understanding of the sophisticated needs of the luxury customer and I have experience and I am able to work in a cross-cultural environment positively.

In this role, I will assist the Groups & Events team in managing group requests and supporting the organization of events, ensuring each experience reflects our brand standards and values.
I will follow our sales and events strategy and supporting on-site execution always aiming to deliver exceptional experiences for our guests and clients while representing Six Senses Ibiza.
- Respond to group inquiries and follow each request from the first contact to confirmation.
- Prepare proposals on time and keep the sales pipeline organized.
- Help with negotiations and coordinate details with different teams.
- Support the contract process until it’s signed and ready for the operations team.
- Work closely with on-site teams to make sure every event runs smoothly.
- Join internal meetings, site inspections, and sales presentations when needed.

I will perform the following relevant tasks for this role:
- Ensure all the Rooms Training plans are accomplished.
- Assist in our Front of House trainings to new hosts if needed.
- Perform LQA & Forbes audits for all Rooms Division departments.
- Ensure all Room Division Guidelines are completed and accessible for the hosts.
- Carry out inventories of the Rooms Division departments, including Housekeeping. Ensure the departmental inventory is up to date, clean and in good conditions every fifteen days approximately.
- Make warehouse transfers for the Rooms departments.
- Assist to prepare purchase orders for the Rooms departments.
- Manage ''Lost & Found'' cases related to Rooms Division.
- Assist to ensure all new hosts have the necessary equipment and access to perform their work.
- Operate office equipment such as scanner & copy machines, phone systems, and use computers for spreadsheet, word processing, database management, and other applications.
- Answer telephones and give information to callers, take messages, or transfer calls to appropriate individuals.
- Compose and distribute meeting notes, routine correspondence, and reports.
- Have a good knowledge of all Rooms Division systems and day to day activities.
- Maintain efficient administration within the department preparing and submitting operational reports on time.
- Attend meetings and training as required by supervisors.
- Impeccable telephone etiquette is needed however making the guest feel comfortable by adapting our communication style to theirs.
- Ability to use multiple platforms at the same time while managing various pieces of information.
- Managing the correct use of our main communication tool with in-house guests, Six Senses App and monitoring the execution of all tasks pending.
- Perform any additional tasks given to me by the Rooms Coordinator and the Rooms Operations Manager.
