Job Description
We are looking for a Data Analyst Intern for our dynamic market Intelligence team.
Responsibilities
- Search for opportunities for business development and increase of company's market share in different services
- Regular analysis of the company's performance
- Convert the information into knowledge in order to increase company's competitiveness
- Develop and maintain regulatory databases
- Create, update and organize database of potential international customers
- Support regional teams across the globe
- Attend meetings with sales and business development managers based internationally
- Degree in Business Administration / Data Analysis / Economics/ International Business.
- Knowledge in Big Data a plus.
- Fluent in English, Intermediate in Spanish.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft windows applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
- MI tools such as Power Bi, MACRO, Data Scrapping tools are preferred.
- Able to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Willing to learn.

Job Description
The Renewable Energy business unit is looking for a Sales Process Specialist for our Office in Madrid. Our team is focused in providing safety Testing, Certification and Compliance attributes for UL's customers in those main areas: Grid Code Compliance on Product and Systems, Renewable Energy Products (E.g.: Solar Inverters, Electrical Vehicle Chargers, Battery Energy Storage Systems, Solar Trackers).
This opportunity may be perfect for someone who wants to join the technical sales world: you will have the possibility to speak with different types of clients, look at products from certification perspective, working with new and various products before they hit the market. You will work in an international environment with strong team spirit.
Responsibilities
- Engages with customers via telephone or electronic inquiries to address inquiries and admin-related activities
- Coordinates pre- and post-sale actions to ensure customers are meeting certification requirements and product or service adoption timelines
- Works autonomously within established procedures to develop and share quotes using standardized pricing tools
- Client follow-up and aid in turning quotes into orders. Process quotes into Orders using ERP
- Connects customer to appropriate UL personnel (Account Manager, SEs/ISEs, delivery teams and engineers, etc.) when appropriate
- Track account history and supply data from internal sources as requested by account owners and representatives to facilitate deeper knowledge of account and account opportunities
- Collaborates with internal resources to resolve customer inquiries and ensure that the customer receives the proper message to ensure complete understanding and results requested
- Based on the relationship and deep understanding of the customer and needs, provides input to account manager or SE/ISE to inform sales strategy where applicable
- Meet established timelines for pre-and post-sales activities.
- Technical Educational Background (High School or Bachelor's Degree)
- Fluent in English and Spanish and other language will be considered as a plus
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), and CRM software
- Business acumen and a sufficient understanding of business sales processes
- Sufficient understanding of core UL products / services for aligned industry to effectively generate quotes
- Strong communication and administrative skills
