Your mission:
We are currently looking to grow our end user Account Management team in Spain. Ideally the position will be based close to Madrid and cover our central and southern territories (other locations could be considered).
As an Account Manager in the End User Sales division of Epson, you will develop and implement the business sales plan for end user customers to generate business growth and maximise cross selling sales of Epson’s portfolio.
What you will do:
- Develop strong relationships with key decision makers within target market sectors.
- Cultivate long term relationships with external parties involved in producing bid/tender documentation to ensure that the profile of Epson is high and of priority.
- Develop and implement the business sales plan for designated customer base to generate business growth and maximise sales of Epson products.
- Build a successful project pipeline through engagement with all stakeholders
- For the specific market, understand the addressable market size and potential and use the information to generate opportunities and develop the existing business portfolio.
- In conjunction with Business Management team define and execute the Epson go to market plan.
- Qualify all prospects using agreed metrics; develop the profile of the prospect and the plan for engagement.
- Produce account plans for each key customer
- Develop detailed deal plans for all opportunities to build solution based approach.
- Provide guidance and support to Account Executives ensuring maximum share of customer sale is achieved.
- Monitor and evaluate market activities and take appropriate actions in order to maintain a competitive advantage
What we ask for:
- Ideally educated to degree or equivalent level in business, technical or sales related discipline
- Experienced working in a sales environment with proven record of achieving success through the development of profitable sales ideally with sizable corporate or public organisations
- Technical expertise in relevant product group(s) or similar discipline and able to communicate and demonstrate the value and technical benefits of Epson products
- Ability to build and proactively manage relationships over a long term to generate business growth.
- Commercially aware and numerate, used to operating in a solutions driven environment
- Experience working with key decision makers to develop account plans and implement tactical solutions
- Strong negotiating, influencing and communication skills
- Ability to understand and manage priorities and risk in commercial terms
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
