Para uno de nuestros principales clientes del sector financiero en Reino Unido, buscamos un Big Data Engineer con experiencia contrastada en entornos cloud y financieros. La persona seleccionada se unirá a un equipo dinámico, trabajando en un modelo híbrido desde nuestras sedes en Andalucía y Madrid, con un alto grado de exposición internacional.

El rol requiere una sólida base técnica en ecosistemas Big Data, infraestructura en la nube con AWS y metodologías DevOps, además de capacidad para desenvolverse en inglés con fluidez en un contexto multicultural. Es un proyecto ideal para profesionales que deseen combinar innovación tecnológica con un sector tan exigente y apasionante como el financiero.

Posición híbrida en diferentes sedes: Madrid, Barcelona, Málaga, Sevilla, Córdoba, Granada, Jaén y Almería.

Requisitos

Imprescindibles

- Experiencia en implementación y gestión de infraestructuras de Big Data escalables con IaC (Terraform).
- Amplio manejo de servicios de AWS: EMR, EC2, Lambda, Step Functions, Glue.
- Experiencia en tecnologías de Big Data: Hadoop, Spark/Scala y bases de datos NoSQL.
- Dominio de lenguajes de scripting: Bash y Python.
- Experiencia en entornos Unix / Linux.
- Uso de repositorios de código como GIT, Maven, etc.
- Conocimientos en DevOps (ej. Jenkins, scripts) y herramientas de despliegue en múltiples entornos.
- Experiencia con Jira.
- Inglés C1 (comunicación escrita y oral fluida).
- Experiencia mínima: 3 años.

Deseables
- Habilidades de análisis: traducir requisitos técnicos a no técnicos y definición de casos de prueba.
- Conocimientos avanzados de SQL para validación de cambios y resolución de incidencias.
- Experiencia en documentación de especificaciones técnicas y procesos.
- Conocimientos en banca y servicios financieros (retail, comercial y corporativa).
- Experiencia en Control-M (creación y gestión de jobs, modificación de parámetros).

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Big Data Developer to join our team in Malaga. You will be part of a strategic project focused on the definition and automation of processes for Initial Margin within the Market Risk area. This role involves working with cutting-edge Big Data technologies (Spark/Scala) to build robust and scalable data solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Define and automate complex data processes using Spark and Scala.
- Participate in the design and implementation of ETL pipelines and data models.
- Collaborate within a specialized Big Data team to handle large-scale data processing tasks.
- Perform data validation and rigorous testing to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Big Data ecosystem within the Market Risk domain.

Qualifications

Technical Requirements
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in a similar Big Data role.
- Languages & Platforms: Strong proficiency in Scala and Apache Spark (Hadoop ecosystem).
- Database: Solid knowledge of SQL (Intermediate level).
- ETL: Proven experience in ETL design and data modeling.
- Scripting: Basic knowledge of Shell Scripting.
- Education: Background in technology-driven projects or Engineering.
- Languages: Fluent English proficiency

Nice to Have
- Experience with Azure Databricks.
- Knowledge of Airflow for workflow and pipeline management.
- Previous experience in the Banking sector, specifically in Market Risk.

Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to work effectively in an agile team environment.
- Proactive attitude towards automation and process optimization.
