Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer you will oversee data ingestion processes and deployment of ML/IA solutions for predictive analysis for an energy sector customer. You will collaborate with Data Scientist and Data Engineers to achieve project and client goals on a very dynamic environment.

The opportunity

As a member of our team in GDS office in Malaga, Spain, you´ll have a chance to extend your knowledge & experience by working on the interesting projects with the newest technologies and approaches. You´ll support clients in choosing the most suitable business solution and take part in digital transformation.

Your key responsibilities

As a Data Engineer, you will work on the design of end-to-end pipelines for enterprise data loading from different sources, deployment of ML/IA solutions for predictive analysis and improvements on quality of data.

You will also collaborate with the product development teams (business analysts, product owners, developers) to deliver high quality solutions for our customers.

To qualify for the role, you must have
- Degree on Statistics, Maths, Informatics or similar.
- 1-3 years of experience as Data Engineer
- Experience in Azure: Databricks, DataFactory, Synapse
- Database knowledge, SQL, OLTP/OLAP
- Experience of Big Data (i.e Spark, Hadoop)
- Very good communication skills in terms of capturing requirements, describing architecture, data flows, etc.
- Excellent communication skills in Spanish (C1 or Native) and in English at least at B1 level.

Ideally, you´ll also have
- Knowledge of cloud solutions
- Experience on Agile and SCRUM methodology.

Job Description

As a Senior Developer, you will be experienced in working with big data ingestion and large data sets in general. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality ETLs.

This is an exciting opportunity to build a new greenfield solution, working as part of a small team, to help the business improve their market-making capabilities within the fixed income space. The platform itself is housed within the AWS ecosystem.

Job Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for the software delivery by ensuring quality and scope expectations are met.
- Contribute and take ownership of the technical design, ensuring all aspects of the system architecture are well documented.
- Work closely with partner technology teams to collaborate effectively.

Qualifications
- Candidates must have the technical skills listed below, and in addition, have worked within a data team in the last 5-10 years.
- Very deep understanding of Tableau.
- Experience in SQL, Hive, Hadoop.
- Experience with Python, PySpark, Pandas, JupyterLab (working with notebooks).
- Experience using the AWS platform.

El Analista de Venta Digital será responsable del análisis de nuestra actividad comercial desde todos los puntos de vista, tanto de analítica digital como de negocio. La persona se enfocará en mejorar la conversión de todos los productos, poniendo foco en entender el comportamiento del cliente en nuestros canales de venta digitales para implementar mejoras.

Se integrará en el squad de Venta Online, trabajando en agile.

FUNCIONES:

Analizar funnels digitales y telefónicos para identificar oportunidades de mejora en la experiencia del usuario y optimizar la conversión.

2. Participar en la creación de modelos de propensión y contacto con clientes, así como en segmentaciones de clientes para acciones comerciales.

3. Crear dashboards operacionales y estratégicos que faciliten la toma de decisiones basadas en los principales KPI.

4. Definir métricas y elaborar informes para evaluar el impacto y hacer seguimiento de las iniciativas implementadas.

5. Monitorear y analizar el comportamiento digital de diferentes segmentos para personalizar acciones y estrategias según las necesidades de cada cliente.

6. Proponer y ejecutar mejoras continuas en procesos de análisis y gestión de datos.

Buscamos una persona con:
