Responsible for coordinating Programs, taking leadership and assuming responsibility for ensuring that assigned programs run smoothly and are planned in a timely and consistent manner, serving as the main contact person for program participants.
Tasks:
- Assist with planning, delivery and post-delivery program follow-up.
- Work with the academic director and program director to create the agenda.
- Coordinate and organize all program logistics.
- Monitor program budget, expenditure, billing, receipts and forecasts.
- Resolve participants’ issues and respond to inquiries from leads, participants, faculty and visitors over the phone and in person.
Education And Experience
- University degree or equivalent preferred, plus experience in an office environment.
- Strong computer skills. Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).

The IESE Career Development Center (CDC) is seeking an Associate Director – Finance to lead employer engagement and student career development for finance-related roles. This is a externally facing position with strategic responsibility for strengthening IESE’s relationships with global finance employers and shaping the career outcomes of MBA students pursuing finance careers worldwide.
Working closely with students, alumni, employers, faculty, and colleagues across the school, the Associate Director will design and execute IESE’s finance career strategy, contribute directly to employment outcomes and rankings, and reinforce IESE’s global reputation as a source of exceptional talent.
Key Responsibilities
Employer Engagement & Business Development
- Define and execute the employer engagement strategy for the finance sector, aligned with IESE’s academic programs, student profile, and global footprint.
- Build, strengthen, and sustain long-term relationships with global and regional finance employers, acting as a trusted partner and advisor.
- Develop and manage an annual account plan for recruiting organizations, including hiring objectives, timelines, networking activities, and student preparation initiatives.
- Conduct proactive outreach to new and existing employers through meetings, visits, and international travel, expanding recruiting opportunities and geographic reach.
- Facilitate employer participation in recruiting activities such as career fairs, company presentations, skill workshops, and tailored engagement initiatives.
- Collaborate with marketing, alumni relations, and other stakeholders to promote IESE talent and increase both the volume and diversity of job opportunities.
- Serve as a career advisor and coach to MBA students pursuing finance careers, guiding them through highly competitive and international recruiting processes.
- Design, deliver, and continuously improve a comprehensive finance career preparation curriculum, including sector and company-specific workshops and information sessions.
- Provide one-on-one counseling on:
- Career strategy and job search planning
- Networking and relationship building
- Personal and professional branding (CV, cover letters, LinkedIn)
- Interview preparation, including mock interviews
- Facilitate meaningful connections between students, alumni, and employers.
- Mentor finance-related student clubs and contribute to the development of student leaders throughout the academic year.
- Stay current on industry hiring trends, employer expectations, and evolving skill requirements, sharing insights with students and colleagues.
- Track, analyze, and report key recruiting and employment metrics, contributing to employment reports, rankings data, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead or contribute to cross-functional projects within the Career Development Center, including initiatives related to career platforms, data analytics, visa considerations, and process innovation.
- Contribute to the ongoing evolution of IESE’s career education model, incorporating market insights and emerging best practices.
Required
- MBA or equivalent graduate degree from a top-tier institution.
- Significant professional experience in the finance sector (e.g., investment banking, asset management, consulting, corporate finance, fintech, or related fields).
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage relationships in international environments.
- Strong empathy and interpersonal sensitivity, with a genuine interest in supporting people and their professional development.
- Full professional fluency in English and Spanish; additional languages are a plus.
- Willingness to travel and to work occasional evenings or weekends to support employer and student events.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate market insights into effective action.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Requisitos:
- Work-permit in Spain
- BS / BA degree or Master’s degree from reputable school, with excellent grades. PhD desirable
- Solid knowledge and understanding of business and management
- High proficiency in English language, verbally as well as written (sample of writing will be expected)
- Strong interest in entrepreneurship, innovation and AI
- Focus on business implications of AI, especially, how AI enables new, innovative business models
