Purpose of the job

Alinghi Red Bull Racing is the Swiss team that will participate in the America's Cup 2024 in Barcelona.

We are looking for a coordinator for one of the Hospitality areas, being responsible for the planning, supervision and management of one of our spaces during the celebration of the America's Cup. Your main task is to ensure that excellent service and attention is provided to attendees, athletes and other guests at the event. This includes coordinating all aspects of the events, from logistics to customer service, in order to ensure that the events are run efficiently and successfully.

This new position is based at the team’s HQ in Barcelona. It is a temporary project. Incorporation at the end of May/beginning of June until the end of October.

The selected person will be incorporated in the Hospitality Department, reporting to the Hospitality Manager.

Key Responsibilities, Tasks and Activities

• Overseeing and coordinating event logistics (guests’ list, accreditation…set-up, dismantling…)
• Assist clients during the events
• Supervise the service according to guidelines
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the Team Hospitality Lounge

Education and Experience

• Studies in the field of tourism, events or marketing are preferred.
• Professional level of English (Mandatory, valuable other languages)
• Previous experience in event coordination, preferably of various sizes and types.
• Prior experience in a hospitality-focused environment and in big events is a must
