Job Description

As part of the Engineering Department, the candidate will focus on the design and implementation of the hot cells at IFMIF-DONES.

Among Other Responsibilities, The Candidate Will Contribute To

• Coordination of the design, manufacturing, commissioning, and operation of the plant’s hot cells
• Design of the experimental workflow involving irradiated materials and its interface with the overall plant design
• Design, manufacturing, commissioning, and operation of laboratories for experimentation with irradiated materials within the hot cells
• Conducting formal design reviews for approval by the international team
• Preparation of technical specifications, management and monitoring of support contracts related to the design and/or construction of hot cells, associated experiments, and materials for beam-interceptive components
• Dissemination of results through journals, conferences, and scientific events

Annual basic remuneration distributed over 14 payments: 61,530.75 EUR (gross salary)

Annual basic remuneration in accordance with the salary tables in force at the date of publication of the call.

If any salary increase is applied to those tables after the date of publication, such an increase shall be applied at the time of formalizing the contract corresponding to the position.
