The Role
As a Data Analyst in the Data Entry Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all data imported into the Factorial platform is accurate, complete, and aligned with client expectations. You’ll focus on data validation, data quality checks, and analytics to support the onboarding process and improve operational efficiency.
This role bridges technical data handling with process improvement—helping teams and customers go live with confidence.
What will you be doing?
Data Preparation & Validation
- Perform data validation and cleansing to ensure accuracy before system uploads.
- Analyze client-provided data to identify inconsistencies, gaps, trends, and areas for improvement.
- Support historical data loading by analyzing legacy structures and transforming them accordingly.
Reporting & Process Improvement
- Generate reports on data quality, completeness, and integrity for the Data Management Lead and key stakeholders.
- Use statistical techniques to perform data analysis and provide insights to improve data onboarding processes.
- Work closely with Data Engineers to identify and support data entry automation opportunities.
Collaboration & Enablement
- Collaborate with the SaaS Implementation team to ensure imported data aligns with platform configuration settings.
- Assist in developing and maintaining data templates and submission guidelines for clients.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, data validation, or similar roles.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, Google Sheets, and basic knowledge of Power BI or other BI tools.
- High attention to detail when working with large datasets.
- Understanding of data quality assurance techniques and processes.
- Strong problem-solving mindset, especially in structuring and cleaning data.
- Elemental programming knowledge to run tools, scripts, or queries.
- Experience with SaaS platforms or HRIS systems is a plus!
