What you will do:

The Role's Key Responsibilities and Tasks

As an eDOer, you will have clear objectives, great challenges, and a clear overview of how your work contributes to the global company project and its customers. As an IOS Software Engineer in the Prime Area you will be in charge of:

• Build a single core application for all the different eDreams ODIGEO brands.
• Work with a top-notch tech stack including Swift, SwiftUI, XCTests, Swift Testing, Snapshot testing, Fastlane, Cocoapods, Jenkins+CicleCI (for Continuous Integration), Viper, MVVM (Clean Architecture).
• Collaborate with talented engineers on architecture, design and best practices.
• Work with our integration tools to speed up the development of the new features.
• Be part of a high performing cross functional team of 7-10 developers, POs, UXers, QAs, data scientists etc, all sharing the same values and focus on the customer.
• Continuously learn and participate in workshops, hackathons and other events as we consider key to be active within the IT community.
• Work with a distributed, scalable microservices platform, where software gets deployed daily, with high quality, clean code, SOLID principles and design patterns.
• Be fully independent when working with the modules your team owns - across all the phases of the SDLC.
• Work with talented colleagues who will mentor you and help you develop your career super fast.
• Provide solutions to complex problems - by understanding the problem and the system it sits in, and working with our most senior people to find the best solution that is robust, scalable and has good performance in a high load environment.
• Work in a fully agile organisation, using Kanban practices to deliver business value continuously, experimenting to deliver more value and be more efficient.
• Actively participate in team ceremonies and events, as well as product definition and ideation processes.
• Code the solutions, on a module scope, with the highest quality through good design, attention to detail and test quality.
• Own and monitor the performance of product and technical OKRs.
• Challenge decisions, be proactive and seek to improve technical excellence.

• Passion for new technologies and clean architecture.
• Experience with Swift, CocoaPods, as well as Unit Tests.
• Knowledge of the criteria for mobile applications design (usability and interaction).
• Product mindset and focus on user experience.
• At least a B2 level in English and willingness to work with a talented multicultural team.
• Team player, flexible, easy going, proactive and supportive.
• Have experience working in an Agile environment.
• Worked with Continuous Integration tools (e.g. Jenkins).
• Knowledge of UI testing, frameworks
• Knowledge of Online Continuous Integration Tools like Bitrise, CircleCI, etc.
• Knowledge of other mobile languages or platforms

The Role's Key Responsibilities and Tasks

At eDreams ODIGEO, we are building a personalized and intelligent travel experience for more than 20 million customers every year. We believe the future of travel lies in hyper-personalization, real-time decisioning, and AI-driven product experiences — and we’re looking for an outstanding Lead Engineer to help us get there.

As a Lead Engineer in our Travel Things product area, you will guide a cross-functional team responsible for shaping and creating capabilities about how we sell and optimize products that make trips better — such as seats, bags, insurance, guarantees, car rental and private transport, and more.

You’ll be at the heart of our strategy to:

• Increase conversion in our booking funnel through smarter user journeys.
• Grow revenue margin per booking by leveraging AI and machine learning to personalize the offer at every step.
• Leverage on real time data for covering the customer specific needs tailoring the offer of our products portfolio.
  
  
  

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead a high-performing team of backend and frontend web engineers, fostering growth, ownership, and technical excellence.
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and UX designers to create, validate and deliver high-impact product features.
• Drive the adoption of machine learning models, AI systems, and personalization frameworks into customer-facing features.
• Ensure engineering quality through technical design reviews, code reviews, and setting high standards for testing and delivery.
• Measure, understand and improve the team performance constantly keeping our high-performance team standards high.
• Mentor and coach engineers, helping them grow in both their technical and leadership paths.
• Align closely with other engineering teams across the company to ensure a strong technical strategy and consistent delivery cadence.

• Proven experience as a Lead Engineer with tech leadership, ideally in B2C or product-led organizations.
• Previous knowledge or strong interest and/or hands-on experience applying machine learning or AI to product problems.
• Experience integrating ML models into production systems or working closely with data scientists is a big plus.
• Solid understanding of personalization strategies (e.g. recommendations, targeting, contextual relevance) and how they impact conversion or monetization.
• Ability to break down complex systems and make pragmatic decisions that drive business impact.
• Experience building distributed systems and REST APIs.
• A product mindset: you care deeply about solving real user problems and measuring outcomes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills — you’re comfortable driving conversations with Product, Design, Data Science and directly reporting to Directors.
• Track record of driving initiatives that had measurable impact on funnel performance or revenue KPIs.

As a Competition Insights Intern you will be making use of our current capabilities to build solid expertise and proactively provide quantitative and qualitative insights that can help the business make the right decisions. This could involve building a new report with rich data and insights or executing an ad-hoc analysis that may require manual exploration. Also, you will be in charge of:

• Dealing with complex data sets to drive valuable insights
• Visualizing those conclusions on Excel or Looker Studio (Google Data Studio)
• Synthesizing insights on a PowerPoint and presenting to broader audiences
