Responsibilities

• - Deal directly with CIB clients ensuring their needs are met and/or exceeded within established agreements.
• Provide assistance/support to clients and corporate groups on technical aspects and practices of commercial LCs and documentary collections.
• Ensure all transactions are properly processed and controlled.

• Instruct the Centralised Back-Office in India for the processing of commercial LCs and documentary collections.
• In coordination with the Back-Office, ensure that letter of credit transactions are in conformity with client instructions, UCP Publication 600/ISP98, and the Bank’s credit/compliance procedures.
• Ensure timely processing of sensitive transactions and report to management any unusual or intricate transactions requiring review, discussion and or approval

In the frame of our continuous growth and expansion, ADEPA is looking for an Investment/ Portfolio Analyst with main focus in liquid instruments and UCITS

MAIN TASKS

The function of this role will be to work within the team of the Investment Management Department. More particularly the role will involve:

• Review of new investment proposals and existing portfolios of assets held by the UCITS managed
• Main focus will be the management of liquid structures and portfolios including credit analysis and performance
• Performing pre-trade compliance checks on investment recommendations mainly for UCITS
• Developing and maintaining our Order Management System (OMS), including and not limited to:

-Stress test on model portfolio and investment compliance rules;

-Securities creation & daily reconciliation;

-Order routing;

-Middle office tasks and back office support;

-Various improvements for the OMS: SWIFT, FIX, connection to other counterparties internally and externally;

• Perform regular updates and reporting to the governance bodies of the Management Company and the Funds Boards
• Identifying opportunities for simplification and streamlining of processes
• Acting as primary contact for delegates of funds like Investment Advisors and Managers, Depositary Banks, Brokers, Transfer Agent, Service Providers

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Master in finance or equivalent, or experience as Portfolio Analyst or in Portfolio Management
• Work experience in a similar position will be valued
• Knowledge of investment funds and financial products
• Fluent in English, any other European language (Spanish or Italian) is a plus
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office
