In ARQUIMEA AEROSPACE DEFENCE & SECURITY develops safer and more reliable defense systems through technology, including unmanned aerial systems (UAVs), sensing systems, command and control software, and aiming systems.

We are seeking a Project Manager who will take part in cutting-edge technology projects, leading their planning and execution to ensure deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met. They will coordinate multidisciplinary teams and act as a liaison between different departments and stakeholders, ensuring the successful achievement of the project’s objectives.

Tasks to be performed:

• Coordinate, as main responsible, the complete life of the projects assigned: planning, execution and closure.
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget with the quality standards and procedures of the company.
• Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility and appropriate risk management.
• Coordinate project communications, keeping a close interaction with project stakeholders as subcontractors, partners and customers.
• Identify and manage project risks and their mitigation actions.
• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.
• Report and escalate to management as needed.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  
  

Required skills, experience and candidate profile:

Education:

• Level – Degree: University degree in Engineering. Specialization in Aerospace, Electronics, Mechanical, Telecommunications or equivalent.
  
  

Required skills, experience and candidate profile:

• Knowledge of Project Management methodologies (e.g., PMI methodologies). PMP certification is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies is desirable.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Proficient in MS Project. Experience in Project Server is desirable.
• Proactive, autonomous and team player.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Comfortable dealing with customers and suppliers
• Proficient in English.
• Eligible to work in the EU.
  
  

Experience:

• Relevant experience (more than 4 years) managing engineering projects. Experience in Defence sector projects is desirable.
  
  

The position is located in our Headquarters of Torrejón de Ardoz (Madrid).
