Project Manager – Driving Operational Predictability in Shipbuilding

Location: Zwolle (NL) or Las Palmas Gran Canaria (ES)

As a Project Manager, your mission is to coordinate internal efforts to deliver on the promises we make to customers—helping them shorten lead times, reduce risks, optimize working hours, and enhance production standards.

What You’ll Do

• Coordinate Internal Teams: Act as the central link between shipyard process engineers, business analysts, management, and software engineers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Customer Engagement: Lead weekly sessions with customers to maintain momentum, clarify expectations, and drive progress.
• Deliver Improvement Initiatives: Translate customer insights into actionable proposals and oversee implementation, including testing solutions developed by our engineers.
• Support R&D: Contribute to innovation by identifying improvement measures based on customer challenges and industry trends.

Your Profile

• Strong background in business administration and logistical engineering (technische bedrijfskunde).
• Experience in project management with a focus on business process improvement.
• Familiarity with lean practices and a natural curiosity for making things better.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• EU passport (from a NATO country), proficiency in English, and willingness to travel internationally (approx. 3 times per year).
