ROLE SUMMARY:

King’s College School, La Moraleja is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to join the Primary School on a long-term temporary basis from February 2026. The successful candidate will support high-quality teaching and help create a positive, engaging learning environment where all pupils can succeed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons in line with the UK National Curriculum.
• Assist with preparation of activities, resources, and classroom organisation.
• Provide individual or small-group support to pupils, including differentiated learning.
• Contribute to monitoring pupil progress and maintaining records where required.
• Promote positive behaviour, safeguarding, and wellbeing in line with school policies.
• Supervise pupils during breaktimes, lunchtimes, assemblies, and transitions.
  
  

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• Experience working with children in a school or educational setting (Primary preferred).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• High level of English.
• A caring, supportive approach with a commitment to pupil wellbeing.
• Ability to follow guidance while using initiative when appropriate.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Understanding of safeguarding and professional conduct expectations.
