The laboratory of Dr. Lina Marin, Assistant Professor at the University of Saskatchewan, invites applications from motivated Master’s and PhD students interested in research on the dynamic interactions between biofilm-forming microorganisms in the oral cavity and their host. The group aims to elucidate the factors and mechanisms by which biofilms contribute to both oral health and disease.

Requirements

– Background in microbiology, biomedical sciences, dentistry, molecular biology, immunology, or a related field

– Strong interest in host-microbe interactions and oral health research

– Willingness to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
