Underwriting Opportunities - French Market

Acquinex is expanding its European underwriting platform and building out a dedicated team focused on the French market.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing, entrepreneurial business at a pivotal stage of its European growth.

We are seeking talented individuals at all levels, from Junior Underwriters to Senior Underwriters, to play a key role in underwriting complex Warranty & Indemnity (W&I), tax, title and contingent risk policies across French and cross-border M&A transactions.

You will work closely with brokers, legal advisors, and corporate clients to deliver bespoke insurance solutions that support deal execution and mitigate risk.

Whether you're developing your technical skills or leading on complex transactions, you'll be part of a highly collaborative and experienced team that values both precision and creativity.

As Part Of Acquinex, You'll Contribute To

Assessing and structuring a variety of transactional risks.

Supporting the full underwriting process from submission to policy issuance.

Building trusted relationships with brokers, advisors, and clients.

Contributing to market development and underwriting strategy for the French market.

Mentoring or learning from others within a supportive, high-performing team.

Helping shape Acquinex's European growth journey within PIB Group.

What We Are Looking For

We are interested in speaking with professionals who have a background in underwriting, M&A, corporate law, tax advisory, or a related transactional risk field.

You may already be a Senior Underwriter looking to take on broader leadership and market responsibilities, or an early-career professional from a legal, business or financial background seeking to step into the transactional risk space with a desire to develop your career in underwriting.

You Will Likely Bring

A strong understanding of French M&A transactions, corporate reorganisations, or tax structuring.

Experience in analysing risk, drafting policy documentation, or managing deal processes.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and drafting skills.

Fluency in French and English (additional European languages are a plus).

A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, cross-border environment.

We are also open to hearing from professionals who are not currently looking to move, but would like to stay connected as our French underwriting team continues to grow.
