Country Manager – Retail Technology Solutions

As Country Manager you will be responsible for leading the company’s operations in the local market, with a strong focus on commercial growth and sales performance. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on business development, ensuring the company strengthens its position as a key technology partner for retailers.

Key Responsibilities

·      Develop and execute the country’s sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market share.

·      Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities with retailers, from large chains to mid-sized enterprises.

·      Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and C-level executives in the retail industry.

·      Recruit, manage, and mentor a commercial team to achieve ambitious sales targets.

·      Represent the company in the local market, acting as the primary spokesperson and accountable for results.

·      Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer needs to anticipate opportunities and challenges.

·      Collaborate closely with global leadership to ensure alignment with corporate goals and successful localization of the go-to-market strategy.

·      Provide regular business reporting, including forecasts, sales performance, and pipeline updates.

Desired Profile

·      Proven track record of success in sales and business development within technology solutions or SaaS companies serving retailers.

·      Strong commercial acumen and ability to negotiate complex, high-value deals.

·      Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on delivering measurable results.

·      Excellent leadership skills, with experience managing and motivating high-performing teams.

·      Strong network and relationships in the retail sector.

·      Fluency in English. Additional languages will be an asset.

·      Office in Madrid downtown.
