The Research Group on Status Epilepticus and Acute Seizures is a multidisciplinary clinical research team that collaborates in the development of new tools and treatments through participation in clinical trials and clinical research projects to improve the prognosis of patients with epilepsy.

The Research Group on Status Epilepticus and Acute Seizures wants to add to its team a clinical researcher to give support for different research projects of the group.

Education and qualifications:

Required:

  • Medical Degree (M.D.)
  • Neurology residency (MIR) completed
  • Fluency in English, Spanish and Catalan

Experience and knowledge:

Required:

  • Extensive experience in managing patients with epilepsy
  • Experience with SAP management programme
  • Experience leading independent research projects
  • Experience in the design and analysis of research projects in epilepsy
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team

Main responsibilities and duties:

  • Participate as sub-investigator in Epilepsy clinical trials.
  • Provide support in research projects.
  • Lead independent research projects.
  • Assist the clinical team in the tasks necessary for the development of studies.

Labour conditions:

  • Full-time position: 40h/week
  • Starting date: 1 January 2026
  • Gross annual salary: 30.000,00 euros (Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale)
  • Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities
