This is how we aim to prevent, stop and cure diseases and ensure everyone has access to healthcare today and for generations to come. Join Roche, where every voice matters.

The Position

The Senior Solution Architect focuses on designing business-driven, standards-based, and future-ready solutions within a complex, multiple solution, or product context. In this role, you will design solutions that meet product requirements, business priorities, and enterprise standards while managing non-functional requirements (NFR) and fitness functions. You will lead others to solve complex problems, maintain the vision and roadmap for multiple solutions, provide technical oversight to product teams, and evaluate new technologies to continuously improve existing solutions and manage technical debt.

Description Of The Area
The Customer Interaction Platform and Services team is part of the Enterprise Platforms group. We provide Contact Center and Telephony services to all Roche divisions globally, including Pharmaceuticals and Diagnostics. Our team supports critical communication channels for both internal staff (such as Service Desk and other internal services) and external customers (including Patients, HCPs, and other partners).

We are currently transforming our Contact Center platform into a solution that allows us to innovate faster, deliver solutions to our consumers more quickly, and enable new AI transformative use cases.

Our team works closely with other architects within Enterprise Platforms, such as the Salesforce and ServiceNow teams. This collaboration ensures our systems are aligned, follow proper governance, and work together to provide a great user experience across the entire technology ecosystem.

We are a global team with a presence in all regions, supporting the Roche community wherever they are located.

The Role: Your day-to-day at Roche

In this position, you will lead the architectural vision for complex, large-scale products that serve both our Pharmaceuticals and Diagnostics divisions.

• Architectural Leadership: You will design standards-based solutions that balance product requirements with Roche’s Enterprise standards. You’ll be the "guardian" of the roadmap, managing technical debt and ensuring our landscape remains agile
• Innovation & AI: You’ll drive the adoption of AI transformative use cases within our CCaaS (Contact Center as a Service) environment, evaluating new technologies and conducting vendor assessments to keep us at the forefront of the industry
• Strategic Collaboration: You will work side-by-side with other architects and product teams, providing technical oversight and ensuring our data models, ontologies, and integration pathways are world-class
• Mentorship & Influence: As a senior expert, you’ll mentor others and help evolve our global Architecture Practices. You’ll be a master at explaining complex concepts to stakeholders and negotiating solutions that drive real value

Who You Are: Your Profile

You are someone who thrives in complex, global environments. You are a natural problem-solver who uses analytical depth to find innovative paths forward. You are passionate about people, technology, and change.

Your technical toolkit should include:

• Extensive Experience: Proven track record as a Solution Architect in complex, multi-product environments
• CCaaS Expertise: Deep, hands-on experience with cloud-based telephony products, specifically Genesys Cloud (CCaaS). You understand End-to-End voice topologies
• Tech Savvy: Expert knowledge in Cloud Foundation, Security & Compliance, and a strong passion for AI & Conversational Technologies
• Architectural Craft: Proficiency in creating Data Models, Taxonomies, and Integration patterns, as well as managing Architecture Decision Records (ADRs)
• Communication: Exceptional English skills (bilingual environment) and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels

What We Offer

• A Purpose-Driven Culture: Join a team that is genuinely passionate about improving healthcare
• Global Exposure: Work with diverse teams across all regions and divisions of Roche
• Growth & Innovation: Be at the center of our digital transformation, with access to the latest tools in AI and Cloud technology

Together, more than 100’000 employees across the globe are dedicated to advance science, ensuring everyone has access to healthcare today and for generations to come. Our efforts result in more than 26 million people treated with our medicines and over 30 billion tests conducted using our Diagnostics products. We empower each other to explore new possibilities, foster creativity, and keep our ambitions high, so we can deliver life-changing healthcare solutions that make a global impact.

Teletreball . Excel Office

At Bending Spoons, we’re striving to build one of the all-time great companies. A company that serves a huge number of customers. A company where team members grow to their full potential. A company that functions at unparalleled levels of effectiveness and efficiency. A company that creates value for shareowners at an extraordinary rate. And a company that does so while adhering to high ethical standards.

In pursuit of this objective, we acquire and improve digital businesses, not to sell on, but to own and operate for the long term. The transformations we make are often deep—designed to speed up innovation, benefit customers, and strengthen business performance. Here, hierarchy is minimal and teams are small and talent-dense. We operate established products with the ambition, agility, and urgency of a startup. Across the company, we integrate AI deeply into how we work so that human judgment and machine intelligence reinforce each other.

For a talented, driven, and collaborative individual, working at Bending Spoons is an opportunity to learn, make an impact, and progress their career at an exceptionally high rate. That’s our promise to such a candidate.

A few examples of your responsibilities

• Understand. Build deep knowledge of your product, its business model, and the key levers driving growth.
• Analyze. Use AI, automation, and advanced analytics to explore high-performing campaigns, identify patterns in user and product data, and generate actionable insights.
• Ideate. Turn insights, experiment results, competitor research, and AI-assisted exploration into hypotheses and identify opportunities to improve growth and monetization.
• Test. Design and run rigorous experiments with real users, partnering closely with designers, engineers, and analysts to bring ideas to life and iterate quickly based on results.
• Scale. Roll out winning ideas broadly, and use learnings from each experiment to shape the next cycle of discovery and testing.

What we look for

• Reasoning ability. Given the necessary knowledge, you can solve complex problems. You think from first principles, and structure your ideas sharply. You resist the influence of biases. You identify and take care of the details that matter.
• Drive. You’re extremely ambitious in everything you do—and your initiative, effort, and tenacity match the intensity of your ambition. You feel deeply responsible for your work. You hold yourself to a high—and rising—bar.
• Team spirit. You give generously and without the expectation of receiving in return. You support the best idea, not your idea. You're always happy to get your hands dirty to help your team. You’re reliable, honest, and transparent.
• Proficiency in English. You read, write, and speak proficiently in English.

What we offer

• Incredibly talented, entrepreneurial teams. You’ll work in small, result-oriented, autonomous teams alongside some of the brightest people in your field.
• An exceptional opportunity for growth. We go to great lengths to hire individuals of outstanding potential—then, our priority is to put them in the ideal position to thrive. Spooners in their 20s lead products worth hundreds of millions of dollars. And if you’ve got what it takes, you’ll soon be playing an essential role in major projects, too.
• All. These. Benefits. Flexible hours, remote working, unlimited backing for learning and training, top-of-the-market health insurance, a rich relocation package, generous parental support, and a yearly retreat to a stunning location. We help each Spooner set up the conditions to do their best work.
• Competitive pay and access to company equity at a discount. Typical annual salary offers range from £85,797 to £151,436 in London and from €66,065 to €107,837 elsewhere in Europe. The lower end of these ranges applies to candidates with little or no relevant experience, while exceptionally experienced candidates may receive offers of up to £316,052 in London or €240,330 elsewhere in Europe. Candidates offered a permanent contract may choose to receive part of their compensation in discounted company equity.

Commitment & contract
Permanent or fixed-term. Full-time or part-time.

Location
Milan (Italy), London (UK), Madrid (Spain), Warsaw (Poland).

The selection process
In our screening process, we prioritize verifiable signals of excellence, regardless of seniority. There are no preferential paths beyond what your application demonstrates, and we evaluate every candidate through the same process.

Some people hold back because they feel they lack experience or have an “imperfect” CV. If you like the role and believe you could excel over time, don’t self-reject.

All applications go through our careers page, which is the only way to be considered. If you pass our screening, you’ll be asked to complete one or more tests. They are challenging, may involve unfamiliar problems, and can take several hours. To learn more about what to expect throughout the selection process, you can find additional information here.

We set the bar high and won’t extend an offer until we’re confident we’ve found the right candidate. This is why a job may remain open for months or be reposted several times.

We consider all applicants for employment and provide reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities—please let us know through this form.

Before you apply
If you’ve applied before but didn't receive an offer, we recommend waiting at least one year before applying again.

Bending Spoons is a demanding environment. We’re extremely ambitious and we hold ourselves—and one another—to a high standard. While this tends to lead to extraordinary learning, achievement, and career growth, it also requires significant commitment.

To help you ramp up quickly and set yourself up for success, we expect you to spend most days in our Milan office during your first few months with us, regardless of your long-term work location. It’s the best way to rapidly absorb our company culture and build trust with your new teammates. We’ll support you with generous travel and accommodation assistance. After that, you’re welcome to work from one of our offices, or remotely from approved countries—depending on what we agree at the offer stage.

If the role speaks to you and you’re excited to give your best, we’d love to hear from you. Apply now—we can’t wait to meet you.

Teletreball . QA Excel UX/UI Office

WeTransfer helps millions of users share ideas and collaborate seamlessly. Now part of Bending Spoons, it plays a key role in a portfolio of outstanding digital businesses united by a shared focus on innovation and operational excellence. By applying through the WeTransfer brand, you’ll be stepping into the wider Bending Spoons team. You may work directly on WeTransfer or contribute to one of our other leading products. Either way, you’ll be part of a high-performing, collaborative environment where you can make a real impact.

To achieve this objective, we execute the following strategy: We acquire a digital business with untapped potential and make it as successful as we can by leveraging our platform—which comprises our expertise, technologies, data, brand, talents, and company culture. Across the company, we integrate AI deeply into how we operate so that human judgment and machine intelligence reinforce each other. Then, we invest the proceeds into making our platform more powerful, and into acquiring new businesses. Thus, our strategy sees us combine an investor’s attention to capital allocation with the hands-on approach of an operator.

For a talented, driven, and collaborative individual, working at Bending Spoons is an opportunity to learn, make an impact, and progress their career at an exceptionally high rate. That’s our promise to such a candidate.

A few examples of your responsibilities

• Shape high-leverage product experiences. Design exceptional UI and UX—from early concepts to polished delivery—using the best available tools to explore more directions, move faster, and raise the quality bar. Ensure every experience is intuitive, effective, and delightful.
• Start with an LLM. Use AI tools to clarify intent, draft short specs, and surface risks, edge cases, and initial approaches before opening any design tool. Use this work to align quickly with your team and compress the time from ambiguity to direction.
• Prototype and build with AI. Use Cursor and Claude Code to turn rough concepts into interactive prototypes and generate production-ready frontend code. You know when to reach for code and when to reach for Figma—and you move fluidly between both to get the best result.
• Co-create with PMs and engineers from day one. Define UX requirements early, stay in the build through QA and release, and make engineering-aware design decisions.
• Validate and measure. Talk directly with customers, run quick tests, and use what you learn to adjust direction. Track funnels, retention, and adoption to assess design effectiveness and sharpen what ships next.
• Find the highest-leverage bets from the backlog. Identify where product improvements can unlock business value, align stakeholders around them, and move fast to deliver.

• Competitive pay and access to company equity at a discount. Typically, we offer individuals with limited experience an annual salary of £85,797 in London and €66,065 elsewhere in Europe. For a candidate that we assess as possessing considerable relevant experience, the salary on offer tends to be between £112,189 and £250,512 in London, and €107,837 and €188,848 elsewhere in Europe. Compensation varies by location and expected impact, and grows rapidly as you gain experience and translate it into greater contributions. For individuals who demonstrate exceptional capability, we may offer compensation that extends beyond the usual ranges to reflect their higher expected impact. If you're offered a permanent contract, you'll also be able to receive some of your pay in company equity at a discounted price, thus participating in the value creation we achieve together. If relocating to Italy, you may enjoy a 50% tax cut.
