The role...

We are seeking a passionate Host/Hostess to join our team. As part of our Soho House team your role is to make sure that our members have an amazing experience every time. Possessing natural hospitality charm, we will give you a platform to connect, grow, have fun and make an impact.

• Welcoming guests to the venue
• Providing accurate wait times and monitoring waiting lists
• Managing reservations through OpenTable
• Provide menus and deliver water and drinks, if needed
• Coordinate with wait staff about available seating options
• Responsible for quickly and accurately delivering orders from the kitchen to customers at the House restaurants
• Provide excellent customer service to everyone, anticipating the members and guests needs
• Build relationships with members and guests and communicate and red flags and positive feedback to management to assess
• Perform tasks to support the waiters and other staff members
• Greet customers upon their departure
• Work with the reception team to ensure excellent service for members and open dialogue is had to manage expectations properly
• Influence a fun and positive atmosphere by being approachable and professional

• Have a genuine passion for food and beverage
• Flexible and available to working both opening and closing shifts when required
• You have to be reliable, flexible, friendly and happy to be a key part of the team that strives for success
• Fluent in English & Spanish (other languages are highly valued)
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects by hand
• Able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours
• Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required
