We are seeking an exceptional Chemistry teacher to join our Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science department. The ability to teach either Mathematics or Physics in addition to Chemistry would be preferred. This pivotal role is crucial to our mission of fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, and entrepreneurial spirit among our students and staff. Key Responsibilities

• Be a contributing member of the team of innovative and reflective practitioners.
• Teach classes in Chemistry and either Mathematics or Physics and lead by example through your own dynamic approach to teaching and learning in your classroom.
• Foster a passion for learning and expand knowledge and understanding in Chemistry.
• Shape and implement a pioneering approach to education in these fields.
• Create an environment that nurtures a spirit of inquiry and creativity.
• Inspire students to excel in IGCSE and A-Level examinations, international competitions, and scientific research projects.
• Ensure true subject mastery and excellence in curriculum design.
• Develop strategies to help talented students perform outstandingly in all academic and extracurricular endeavors.
• Be actively involved in the co-curricular activities of the school.
  
  

Qualifications And Experience

• Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
• Preferably have an EU passport or already have the right to work in Spain.
• Hold a Master’s degree or Doctorate in Chemistry or a related field.
• Valid Teaching Qualification - PGCE/BEd or equivalent, EU-recognised preferred.
• Strong experience in international schools, with experience of teaching British Curriculum Chemistry, including a track record of success in competitive international examinations.
• Strong knowledge of, and experience in nurturing inquiry-based, interdisciplinary, project-based, and research skills, and their application in real-world contexts.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organisational skills.
• Accomplished in using technology and digital tools to enhance learning and teaching.
• Familiarity with current international standards and best practices in Chemistry pedagogy.
