Responsibilities

Requirements

- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar discipline
- Strong PowerShell or similar scripting experience like Python or Bash
- TeamCity (or other CI tools), BitBucket (or other source version control systems), Artifactory (or other artifacts management system
- Solid understanding of SDLC, CI/CD
- Windows and Linux operating systems
- Understanding of business domain (Finance business preference)
- Solid understanding and experience working with high availability, high performance, multi-data center systems
- Troubleshoot complex issues ranging from system resources to application stack traces
- Extensive DevOps background with varied hands-on experience of supporting and releasing technical solutions for clients, preferably in a Microsoft environment

En la unidad de SIEM TO de Telefónica Cybersecurity & Cloud Tech nos encargamos de la detección, análisis y respuesta a todas las posibles situaciones de riesgo mediante la ejecución de acciones para mitigar o contener un incidente de ciberseguridad.

¿CÓMO SERÁ TU DÍA A DÍA?

Tu misión consistirá en la monitorización de eventos de seguridad y detección de incidentes de seguridad

Tu día a día:

Detección de incidentes:

• Revisar y analizar las alertas generadas por sistemas de seguridad, como intrusiones de red, comportamientos sospechosos de usuarios, malware, entre otros, para determinar su relevancia y gravedad.
• Responder a incidentes de seguridad de baja complejidad, siguiendo los procedimientos establecidos, y escalando aquellos incidentes que requieran intervención adicional.
• Realizar investigaciones iniciales sobre eventos de seguridad, identificando la causa raíz y el alcance de un incidente, así como recopilando evidencia forense para su análisis posterior.
• Registro de actividad propia del desarrollo del servicio mediante la herramienta de ticketing.
• Colaborar con equipos de IT y desarrollo para implementar soluciones de seguridad desde el diseño hasta la ejecución.
• Mantener documentación actualizada sobre procesos de seguridad, incidentes y lecciones aprendidas para mejorar las respuestas a futuros incidentes.
  
  

• Comunicaciones: solicitud de bloqueo de direcciones IP maliciosas en WAF.
• Endpoint: solicitud de escaneo con el antivirus y contención de equipos con agente EDR
• Mail: solicitud de incluir direcciones a la whitelist/blacklist, redirección de mails a la cuarentena y borrado de mails.
• Accesos: solicitud de bloqueo de usuarios, reseteo de credenciales y token de sesión en dispositivos.
  

• Experiencia en un rol similar o en un entorno de soporte técnico.

The opportunity

Your key responsibilities

As a valued member of the Cybersecurity Detection & Response team, you will be actively involved in a diverse array of projects, tailored to align with our clients´ requirements as well as your professional expertise. Additionally, your participation will extend to contributing to the strategic development and expansion of the Cybersecurity Detection & Response (CDR) team

Skills and attributes for success

Experience in at least one of the leading SIEM solutions on the market (Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, Elasticsearch, Google Chronicle)
- Good knowledge of distributed IT environments, preferably hands-on experience in major Cloud Infrastructures (Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Google Cloud Platform)
- Advanced skills in Linux (RedHat, Debian) and Microsoft Windows operating systems security
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and threat models (MITRE ATT&CK, Cyber Kill Chain, STRIDE)
- Familiarity with cybersecurity standards (ISO27001, NIST, CSIRT, CISA)
- Good understanding of TCP/IP networks and deployment models (cloud, hybrid and on-premises)
- Familiarity with High Availability technologies and other resilience solutions
- Documentation skills, including creating and reviewing policies, procedures, SOPs, playbooks, and post-implementation documents
- Proficiency in English at the C1 level
- Willingness and preparedness for travel as required by project needs

Ideally, you´ll also have
- Scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Modern virtualization solutions (Kubernetes/OpenShift/Docker, KVM, VMWare)
- Familiarity with security automation tooling and DevSecOps paradigm
- Familiarity with OT/ICS and Zero-Trust reference architecture
- Preferably holding one of the relevant Microsoft (MS) certifications (e.g. SC-200, MS-500, AZ-500); and industry standard certifications (e.g. CISSP, SSCP, CCSP, CISM, ECSA)
- Experience in people management roles
- Proficiency in AI and machine learning applications, with experience utilizing Copilot.
- Experience in writing or assisting in the Requests for Proposals process
