Backed by a leading purpose-driven investor and with teams already present in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, France and the UK, we're now growing within Spain.We are looking for a Service Engineer (m/f/d) based in Madrid.Service Engineer you'll be responsible for supporting our field service activity.
This role will involve traveling across Spain to visit the sites where our towers are placed and conduct a series of routine checks, inspections, and repairs to ensure optimal functionality of the towers.In your role, you will represent BauWatch to our customers and contribute to their overall satisfaction.Responsibilities and DutiesDetecting and diagnosing malfunctions or technical problems of the Towers and determining the right solution, both on location and remotely.Apply standard solutions in case of malfunctions, but also come up with solutions in case of complex technical problems where standardised solutions are not sufficient.Ensuring customers receive a consistently high standard of customer service.Liaison with the Operations Team and our Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) to ensure mast is operational.Performing all common types of periodic maintenance and carry out inspections of installations in accordance with the applicable standards.Support ongoing operations at our Madrid hub and conduct inspections of incoming towers.Potentially manage the local stock supplies for your geographical area, including the timely ordering of necessary materials for the work to be carried out.PersonalityCustomer focused: A strong focus on delivering excellent service to customers, prioritising service and client satisfaction.Happy to travel/stay away overnight: This is a national role and overnight stays might be expected, with associated compensation and expenses.Technically skilled problem-solver: Experience of using tools to achieve results and get problem fixed in the most efficient & effective way.Solution focused: Gets the problem fixed in the most efficient & effective way.Independent and eager to learn: Able to carry out your own work properly and solve problems without supervision from others.Team player: Promotes mutual open communication and relationships.
