This role is designed for an individual eager to imprint their mark on the pet food industry.
Role Overview:
As a Sales Representative in Pet Food, your responsibilities will include:
- Improve penetration and display all over the assigned area. Plan, implement and measure an Activation Plan in each Distributor to boost the business according to BOP.
- Give support and advice to the sales force of the Distributors in relation to special negotiations, communication, prescription tools and/or loyalty and launch of new products, as well as advice to the main clients, to implement the assortment.
- Train both the Distributor and their salespeople in business skills and portfolio.
- Guarantee the implementation in each POS and Distributor of the promotions, monitoring, and control as well as at the of reporting results.
- Promote the brand through the appropriate frequency of commercial impacts to customers assigned. Based on different parameters (according to sales, potential or others), as well as the implementation of prescription and/or loyalty tools to achieve the defined annual sales targets.
- Guarantee brand best position in shelves-stores through the placement of merchandising or other necessary material at POS, ensuring its correct use. Manage planogram-tool, in store, to get the best visibility of the products
- Report current market information, both on trends in portfolio activity as well as news from other players, proposing promotional dynamics for clinics and specialized stores or grocery markets.
- Lead the assistance to local events and participate in national ones.
- Regularly participate in team’s meeting to report own results, plans and estimations.
Who Are We Looking For?
- University degree in Marketing, Sales, ADE, or similar. Studies in Veterinary will be valuable.
- Driving license B
- Intermediate level of English and Native in Spanish language.
- Residence in Barcelona/Madrid.
- Availability to travel at Iberia level. Minimum required 25% of the time. Flexibility.
- Demonstrable ability to adapt to a changing and competitive market.
- Accustomed to use Microsoft Office.
- Minimum commercial experience of 3 years in sales at Petcare specialized channel, and or FMCG.
- Experience with clients of different types and sizes: distributors, regional and national retailers in both channels specialised and grocery, Vets and petshops.
