Bookkeeper (On‑site) – Full‑time, Málaga

About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated, detail‑oriented bookkeeper to own day‑to‑day accounting operations and ensure accurate, timely reporting. This is a full‑time, on‑site role in our Málaga office.

Responsibilities

• Daily bookkeeping and reconciliations (sales, purchases, bank, VAT).
• Processing invoices and payments.
• Monthly closings and financial overviews; assist with annual reporting.
• Maintain accuracy and consistency in financial records.
• Improve and streamline accounting workflows.
• Handle ad‑hoc finance tasks.

Requirements

• Proven bookkeeping experience (please list systems used — e.g., e‑conomic, Xero, QuickBooks).
• Strong IT skills: Excel/Google Sheets, email, and file management (will be tested).
• Structured, detail‑oriented, and reliable; comfortable taking ownership.
• Clear spoken and written English (will be tested).
• Right to work in Spain and availability to work on‑site in Málaga.

e‑conomic, Dinero, Billy, and Monday CRM, ChatGPT.

Hiring Process

• Practical bookkeeping test (screen recording required).
• Personality assessment (DISC or Big Five) and interview.
• Reference checks (if available on your résumé).

Terms

• Location: On‑site, Málaga (Mon–Fri, full‑time).
• Start date: Flexible; applications reviewed on a rolling basis.
• Salary: EUR 1,500–1,800 gross/month to start, plus a quarterly bonus linked to company revenue.
• Probation: 3 months with clear KPIs (timely posting, bank/VAT reconciliations, month‑end by agreed deadlines).
