At Mercadona Tech we are looking for a Product Manager to join our tech hub in Valencia to help us keep growing and making cool things to rebuild our e-commerce channel. Mercadona Tech, a spin-off of Mercadona, is in charge of the new online solution revolutionizing the grocery shopping experience.

Being a Product Manager at Mercadona Tech

• Besides being an incredibly interesting discipline, product management is practiced very differently in different organisations.
• We see product management as the practice of strategically driving - within a Product Team or Vertical - the development, market launch, and continual support and improvement of our digital tools (’products’).
• All of our logistics processes are facilitated by products that we built in-house, driven by the vision of increasing efficiency, improving our service or scaling it.
  
  

Technology at our Product team:

A Product Manager must be able to provide all the information that is useful to the team in order to understand the problem, understand its cause or origin, illustrate the motivation to solve it and ensure alignment with business needs. To do this, your main weapons are questions and data.

For this reason, a Product Manager will use tools that facilitate the collection and analysis of data to identify what the problem is, and that help him transfer all those needs to his team to solve it.

About You

At our company, data is essential to make informed decisions. We appreciate your perspective and welcome any insights you may have, but we prioritise the use of data in our decision-making process. To be a successful Product Manager at Mercadona Tech, you should feel comfortable working with agyle methodologies , design thinking , and team dynamic until you understand the root cause of the problems.
