Key Requirements Summary

1. OpenStack Architecture & Operations

Proven experience (2+ years) designing and running production OpenStack (single/multi-site).

Strong command of core services: Nova, Neutron (OVN), Cinder, Glance, Keystone, Horizon, plus Octavia and desirable Masakari.

Ability to produce HLD/LLD, standards, runbooks, and operational documentation.

2. Cloud Services Engineering

Build and operate cloud offerings (KaaS, SaaS, DBaaS) with self-service, quotas, SLAs/SLOs, lifecycle automation, and metering/chargeback.

3. Automation & CI/CD

Expert in Ansible, Terraform, Python, Git workflows, and automated deployments/upgrades with staged rollouts and rollback procedures.

Ability to create reusable modules, pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code standards.

4. Compute, Networking & Storage

Deep knowledge of KVM/QEMU, libvirt, performance tuning, and live migrations.

Solid understanding of OpenStack networking (L2/L3, security groups, DVR/SNAT, overlays) and Octavia load balancers.

Hands-on experience with Ceph RBD, pool policies, snapshots, clones, and recovery.

5. High Availability & Resilience

Skilled with control plane components: RabbitMQ, MariaDB/Galera, HAProxy, Keepalived.

Able to design, test, and execute backup/restore

6. Security & Identity

Strong grasp of Keystone projects/roles, SAML/OIDC federation, token/endpoint management.

7. Observability & Cost Efficiency

8. Operations Excellence

Lead incident response, on-call participation, RCA/PIR, and ensure improvements

9. Baseline Technical Profile

El/la candidato/a seleccionado deberá cumplir los siguientes requisitos:

5+ years in Linux/cloud infrastructure with strong Ubuntu administration.

Desirable certifications: OpenStack COA, RHCE/RHCSA, LFCE/LFCS, CKA/CKAD, Terraform Associate, Ceph training, CCNP.
