¿Qué buscamos?
REQUISITOS:
- Formación Mínima: Titulación superior en Ingeniería, Matemáticas, Economía o similares. Valorable MBA o máster en analítica de datos o estrategia digital.
- Buen dominio de herramientas de data analytics (Power BI, Tableau, Excel avanzado). Nociones prácticas de Python o R, especialmente en el contexto de IA aplicada a negocio.
- Idiomas: Español e inglés fluidos (imprescindibles). Valorable conocimiento de portugués o italiano.
EXPERIENCIA:
- Mínimo 5 años liderando proyectos de transformación, digitalización o business analytics en empresas industriales o de servicios. Experiencia transversal, combinando entendimiento de procesos de negocio con herramientas de análisis. Job Description
NielsenIQ’s Innovation Team is growing our AI capabilities and is now looking to hire an AI/ML Data Scientist in . for the Core Models team, a multidisciplinary team of researchers working on different areas of AI such as recommender systems, extreme classifiers, Large Language Models (LLMs), among others. As part of this team, you will stay up to date with the latest research in AI (with special focus on NLP, but also on Computer Vision and other AI related fields), implement current state-of-the-art algorithms in real-world and large-scale challenging problems as well as proposing novel ideas.
Your main focus will be creating high-quality datasets for training and fine-tuning Custom Models for the company, LLMs and Recommender Systems, and training them to analyze the impact of the different versions of the data on model’s performance. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data pipelines and strategies to support all stages of the R&D process, e.g., fine-tuning or alignment through reinforcement learning. The results of the word will be critical to ensure the robustness, safety, and alignment of our AI models. You will also have the opportunity to produce scientific content such as patents or conference/journal papers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Investigate, develop, and apply data pipelines with minimal technical supervision, always ensuring a combination of simplicity, scalability, reproducibility and maintainability within the ML solutions and source code.
- Train Deep Learning models (Transformer models) and analyze the impact of different versions of the data.
- Perform feasibility studies and analyze data to determine the most appropriate solution.
- Drive innovation and proactively contribute to our work on custom Large Language Models.
- Be able to communicate results to tech and non-tech audiences.
- To work as a member of a team, encouraging team building, motivation and cultivating effective team relations.

Sobre la posición:
Dentro del departamento del Data Squad, integrado en la Dir. Financiera, tendrás responsabilidad sobre las siguientes funciones:
- Gestión integral de datos del área actuarial/financiero: tratamiento de la información, garantía de calidad de la misma, cumplimiento de requisitos regulatorios, etc.

Our data mission is to develop and maintain Ebury´s Data Platform and serve it to the whole company, where Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Analytics Engineers and Data Analysts work collaboratively.
As a Data Engineer, you will work closely with the rest of the team to help model and maintain the Data Platform.

Responsibilities:
- Be mentored by one of our outstanding performance team member along a 30/60/90 plan designed only for you
- Participate in data modelling reviews and discussions to validate the model´s accuracy, completeness, and alignment with business objectives
- Design, develop, deploy and maintain ELT/ETL data pipelines from a variety of data sources (transactional databases, REST APIs, file-based endpoints)
- Serve hands-on delivery of data models using solid software engineering practices (eg. version control, testing, CI/CD)
- Manage overall pipeline orchestration using Airflow (hosted in Cloud Composer), as well as execution using GCP hosted services such as Container Registry, Artifact Registry, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, and GKE
- Work on reducing technical debt by addressing code that is outdated, inefficient, or no longer aligned with best practices or business needs
- Collaborate with team members to reinforce best practices across the platform
About you:
- 3+ years of data/analytics engineering experience building, maintaining & optimising data pipelines & ETL processes on big data environments
- Proficiency in Python and SQL
- Knowledge of software engineering practices in data (SDLC, RFC...)
- Stay informed about the latest developments and industry standards in Data
- Fluency in English
- As a plus:
• Experience with our modern Data stack tools
• Dimensional modelling/data warehousing concepts knowledge
• Spanish language

The Role
Veeva Link supports the life sciences industry by building connected data applications to improve research and patient outcomes. It helps professionals find the right people, e. g. clinical trials, education programs, or advisory boards. This streamlined access helps to reduce the time-to-market of essential drugs, conduct trials with the most relevant experts in the respective field, and spread information about new treatments to key people in the life science community.
Joining the External Team, working on three sets of products: Link Key Accounts, Link Key People, and Open Data Clinical, you will have the opportunity to design and develop pipelines that are part of our knowledge base. At the same time, you are going to be in charge of designing the architecture of our AWS subscription. The team is closely connected to other internal teams, as well as to the data governance and product teams, giving you a great opportunity to make meaningful contributions impacting the product value chain.
We value end-to-end ownership, rational thinking, and an analytical mindset. You take responsibility for features and innovation using clean system design principles, take part in the architectural enhancement process, and care for the quality of the outcome. - Work with Python on Spark-based data pipelines, using Terraform to manage the IaC
- Infrastructure design in AWS: we are in control of our own infrastructure
- Experiment in your domain to improve precision, recall, or cost savings
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills, used to work in a remote environment
- More than 5 years of experience
- Expert skills in Python or Java
- Experience with Apache Spark
- Experience writing software in AWS
Nice to Have
- Experience with Data Lakes, Lakehouses, and Warehouses (e. g. DeltaLake, Redshift)
