Supporting the marketing and communications team in various tasks related to promoting Schiller International University.

Tasks And Responsabilities

  • Social media strategy:
    • Design and implement the organic social media strategy, in coordination with marketing department.
  • Social media and management:
    • Manage Social media accounts: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, X and TikTok by leading organic social media strategy, create brand engagement in platforms, plan content, monitor engagement create monthly metrics reports, work alongside agency for community management
  • Content creation:
    • Content creation for social media posts: copies, visuals and videos.
    • Cover events and activities planned by the University.
  • Benchmark:
    • Industry trends, target audiences, and competitors to gather insights that can be used in organic strategy
  • Campaign support:
    • Help marketing department creating videos, scripts, support with copies and offer industry insights.
  • Analytics and reporting:
    • Analyze data and generate reports to assess the effectiveness of organic efforts, recognize KPIS and track them.
  • Communication coordination:
    • Help coordinate internal and external communications in our social media platforms with Chief Communications Officer and other university departments.
  • Collaboration and support:
    • Working closely with the marketing and communications team to support their initiatives and projects.
    • Working closely with GEDU teams to optimize synergies within the group.
    • Working with the marketing agency to coordinate the brand voice in SM.
Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or relevant field.
  • Proven expertise in social media marketing and social media platforms
  • English: Native or bilingual proficiency
  • Proficiency level of Spanish.
  • Strategic thinking for developing effective marketing campaigns
  • Strong copywriting skills for social media.
  • Ability to study and interpret marketing analytics
  • Great organizational skills; ability to monitor multiple social media platforms concurrently
  • Excellent communication skills for reporting results and liaising with agencies and contractors
  • Adept at community building and keeping calm under high-pressure online interactions
  • Tech-savvy for creating visuals if necessary, and collaborating with other creatives
  • Problem-solver: identify issues and work proactively in solving it.
  • Flexible: you know how to focus on goals and prioritize more impactful activities
  • Creative: find new ways to improve performance and make things happen.
  • Passion: for the educational industry and marketing
  • Full proficiency in content creation tools such as: Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Capcut Pro, Figma.
  • Experience in front of camera
  • Proficiency on using analytics tools such as: Hootsuite, Metricool, Meta Business Suite and Meltwater.
