What if your fluency in Spanish could directly shape how AI communicates with hundreds of millions of people around the world? We're looking for Spanish language experts in Barcelona to evaluate and improve AI-generated content — ensuring it sounds natural, accurate, and culturally right for real Spanish speakers.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No AI background needed — just a deep command of Spanish and a sharp eye for quality.
About The Role
What if your fluency in Spanish could directly shape how AI communicates with hundreds of millions of people around the world? We're looking for Spanish language experts in Barcelona to evaluate and improve AI-generated content — ensuring it sounds natural, accurate, and culturally right for real Spanish speakers.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No AI background needed — just a deep command of Spanish and a sharp eye for quality.
- Organization: Alignerr
- Type: Hourly Contract
- Location: Remote
- Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
- Pay: $20–$40/hour
- Review AI-generated Spanish translations and original content for accuracy and naturalness
- Identify mistranslations, unnatural phrasing, register mismatches, and cultural issues
- Suggest clear, idiomatic, and culturally appropriate improvements
- Provide structured, detailed feedback on linguistic and cultural quality
- Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule
- Native or near-native fluency in Spanish
- Strong written communication skills in both Spanish and English
- Solid command of contemporary Spanish usage across different contexts and registers
- Naturally detail-oriented with a consistent, methodical approach
- Comfortable evaluating written language quality across a variety of topics
- No prior AI or tech experience required
- Experience in translation, localization, editing, or linguistics
- Familiarity with AI tools or language evaluation workflows
- Knowledge of Castilian Spanish and awareness of Latin American variations
- Background in communications, education, journalism, or content review
- Multilingual skills (e.g., Catalan) are a plus but not required
- Work on cutting-edge AI projects alongside leading research labs
- Fully remote and flexible — work when and where it suits you
- Freelance autonomy with the structure of meaningful, task-based work
- Contribute to meaningful work that improves AI for Spanish speakers worldwide
- Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch
