Purpose of Role.
As part of the Leadership & Talent Division at Helvetia Baloise, drive the design, governance, and continuous evolution of group-wide Performance & Talent Management frameworks that are fully aligned with business strategy, leadership principles, compensation frameworks, and cultural values. By integrating performance, Talent, succession, and strategic people planning processes, this role ensures the organization can identify, develop, and deploy Talent effectively, foster a high-performance culture, and build a robust, future-ready workforce and succession pipeline. The role empowers stakeholders through clear guidelines, data-driven insights, and strong collaboration, ensuring consistent, innovative, and impactful Performance & Talent Management practices across the group.
Your Key Responsabilities
- Design, govern, and continuously evolve group-wide frameworks for Performance Management, Talent Management, Succession Planning, and Strategic People Planning, ensuring alignment with business strategy, leadership principles, compensation frameworks, and cultural values.
- Define criteria for identifying Talents and key positions, outline annual processes and timelines, and drive the annual cycles for Performance and Talent Management – including goal setting, development dialogue, year-end reviews, continuous dialogues, Talent conferences, succession planning, and Strategic People Planning.
- Establish and maintain an overarching competency framework embedded across core HR processes, and analyse skill requirements to guide targeted upskilling initiatives.
- Prepare executive-level presentations and reports for the Group Executive Committee and Board of Directors.
- Equip HR Business Partners and Market Unit SMEs with guidelines, communication material, and training to ensure consistent and effective group-wide process application.
- Lead the PM/TM Circle, bringing together Market Unit SMEs and key stakeholders to drive the development and successful implementation of Performance & Talent Management frameworks across the group.
- Collaborate closely with HR Tech to ensure SuccessFactors effectively supports the Performance & Talent Management processes and to fully leverage its capabilities for data, analytics, and process optimization.
- Monitor and analyse performance and Talent data, providing actionable insights and recommendations for strategic decision making.
- Benchmark and integrate external best practices and internal feedback to ensure frameworks remain relevant, innovative, and impactful.
Areas you’ll interact with.
- You will collaborate closely within Group HR, with Market Unit and Group Function SMEs, Compensation & Benefits, and our HR Systems team.
Experience & Expertise.
- Proven experience designing, managing, and evolving frameworks for Performance Management, Talent Management, Succession Planning, and Strategic Workforce Planning within multi‑unit organizations.
- Skilled in developing guidelines, communication materials, trainings, and executive‑level presentations for HR processes.
- Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret performance and talent data to support strategic decision‑making.
- Knowledge of compensation frameworks and experience defining and embedding competency frameworks.
- Demonstrated adaptability and change‑management skills in dynamic organizational environments.
- Excellent collaboration and stakeholder‑management skills, with experience working effectively in remote and cross‑functional settings.
Languages.
- English (proficient)
- German (proficiency is a strong advantage)
- French and Spanish (advantage)

- Strong affinity for HR technologies and digital tools to optimize processes.

- Advanced PowerPoint and presentation development.
Certificates.
- Certifications in Human Resources, Talent & Performance Management, HR Analytics, Organizational Development, or related disciplines will be highly valued.
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Economics, or a related field is preferred
