We are looking for a Head of Sales to take full ownership of our commercial engine, reporting directly to the CEO and working hand in hand with Marketing, Financial Services and Operations.
🎯 Your Mission: own the commercial engine (strategy and execution)
Kleo already has traction. What it needs now is a system: someone to turn a promising funnel into a repeatable, scalable machine, and to lead the team that runs it. You'll set the strategy and roll up your sleeves to make it happen.
- Own the number: define the sales strategy and the plan to hit Kleo's targets — and be accountable for it.
- Design the funnel: design and set the sales process, lead qualification, prioritization and conversion end to end, and sharpen our ICP alongside Marketing.
- Build the playbook: create the sales playbooks and processes that make growth repeatable with every new hire.
- Lead Partnerships: own the strategy for gestorías, referrers and ecosystem partners (a motion very close to selling to end clients) with the team executing on the ground.
- Lead the team: give direction, method and standards to a small, hungry commercial team, and grow it.
- Prepare the next leap: get the area ready to absorb our upcoming challenges
👤 The profile we are looking for
You've built a commercial function before, not just run one. You combine strategic vision with impeccable, hands-on execution, and you live by data.
- Builder mindset (must-have): you've structured or built a sales function from an early stage in a startup or scale-up, defined the processes and prepared it to scale.
- Player-coach (must-have): you design the strategy and you also get in the weeds. At our size, leading means doing.
- Consultative B2B sales: you run sales cycles with senior stakeholders (CEOs, CFOs) where trust and judgment beat brute volume.
- Financial world: you come from fintech or the wider financial sector, so you speak the language of financial products and can earn a CFO's trust from day one
- Data-driven: you run on forecast, pipeline and conversion metrics, not on gut feeling.
- Tech-savvy: you use technology and AI to scale a commercial team, and you expect your team to do the same.
- Language: native or fluent Spanish is non-negotiable (your core market is Spain today). A high level of English is required, as the area will open international markets.
✨ Bonus Points
- Background in the Spanish corporate financing world, especially public financing (ENISA, ICO, grants/subsidies, tax lease). It's the most particular segment and the bulk of our business today. A strong plus, though not a deal-breaker if the rest of the profile fits.
- Startup ecosystem: you come from the startup / scale-up world and know how it moves — its pace, its network and its culture.
- Experience in partnerships, channel or business development through third parties.
- Experience with subscription / SaaS models and/or with international market expansion.
- Familiarity with sales automation and AI tools.

- Hybrid model: 3 days in the office in Madrid (Cuzco area) and 2 days from home.
- Flexibility: a flexible schedule that fits your life and priorities. Christmas, Easter and summer are full remote if you want, August and every Friday are short-day (jornada intensiva).
