🚀 We’re Hiring: Head of Design (Organic & Social) (Remote / Barcelona Preferred)

Rooted Social is a global digital marketing agency operating across paid media, websites, CRM systems, and organic strategy.

We work with high-end brands across travel, real estate, e-commerce, finance, and hospitality — including Coca-Cola, Tatler Magazine, and leading luxury hotels across Africa.

With a fast-growing, international team across London, Barcelona, Cape Town, Milan, and Kenya, we’re building one of the most dynamic agencies in our space.

We’re now looking for a Head of Design (Organic & Social) to lead creative execution across all organic accounts.

Role

You will be responsible for translating strategy into world-class visual output — managing designers, shaping content direction, and ensuring every piece of creative meets a high-performance standard.

This is a leadership role at the intersection of strategy, content, and execution.

What you’ll be responsible for

• Leading design output across all organic client accounts

• Translating content calendars into clear creative briefs

• Managing and directing designers and freelance creatives

• Ensuring consistency across brand identity and visual standards

• Working with the website department in UX/UI design on Framer CMS

• Working closely with content, strategy, and account teams

• Interpreting client input and content from on-the-ground shooters

• Overseeing UGC, social-first content, and campaign visuals

• Maintaining best-in-class standards across all deliverables

• Managing timelines, output, and creative workflows

What we’re looking for

• Strong experience leading design or creative teams

• Deep understanding of social-first content and visual trends

• Strong project management and organisational skills

• Ability to brief clearly and drive execution at speed

• Excellent understanding of branding, positioning, and visual identity

• Comfortable working across multiple industries and accounts

• Experience with UI/UX and digital design fundamentals

• Strong decision-making and ability to work in fast-paced environments

• Native-level English (essential)

• Experience in luxury, hospitality, real estate, or e-commerce

• Understanding of content performance and analytics

• Experience working within agencies
