This is an exciting opportunity for a creative professional to bring impactful visual storytelling to life across diverse communication channels. The role is hybrid and supports key initiatives within the Corporate Communications team while maintaining a focus on delivering elevated, high-quality designs.
The role will be part of the Publishing organization, which includes a dynamic mix of teams across marketing, user acquisition and research, creative services, distribution, strategic partnerships, business affairs, advertising and business development, but will also work extremely closely with our Operations and People Team/HR organizations. Role will specifically work hand-in-hand with our creative services agency, Flamed to drive visual design updates to digital platforms.
What You Will Do
An ideal candidate should have a passion for storytelling, strong attention to detail and writing skills, be a self-starter, a creative visual design sensibility, willingness to roll up sleeves and learn different content management systems (CMS), tenacity to drive progress and mobilize collaboration, and a point of view on communication.
- Collaborate with the Corporate Brand & Communications team to create visually compelling assets that reinforce and elevate the company’s brand identity.
- Act as a guardian of our visual branding, developing and maintaining guidelines to ensure consistency across all platforms and materials.
- Design and refine high-quality corporate presentations and pitch decks for leadership and key stakeholders, ensuring a polished and engaging visual impact.
- Craft a diverse range of assets for internal and external communication needs, including digital campaigns, print materials, email templates, and social media visuals.
- Contribute to video animation and motion design projects, providing creative input and utilizing tools like After Effects and Premiere Pro.
- Work cross-functionally with various teams to align design efforts with broader corporate strategies, maintaining a cohesive brand voice.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop innovative ideas for visual storytelling, translating concepts into impactful designs.
- Leverage expertise in Adobe Creative Suite to produce best-in-class designs that meet both creative and strategic objectives.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging trends in design, technology, and branding to continuously enhance our creative output.
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative projects.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with expertise in Photoshop and Illustrator.
- A deep understanding of design principles, including typography, composition, and layout, with a meticulous eye for detail.
- Experience in creating corporate presentations and pitch decks with a focus on storytelling and visual clarity.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- A proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving, thriving in ambiguous and entrepreneurial settings.
- Passion for creativity and storytelling, with a strong understanding of branding and its application across various mediums.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with excellence.
- Intellectual curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
- Interest in and awareness of technology and entertainment trends; enthusiasm for games is a plus.
- Knowledge of motion graphics and video editing tools like After Effects and Premiere Pro is highly desirable.
- Corporate Comms (B2B editorial, media relations, public affairs/crisis management, thought-leadership, executive engagement, awards (e.g., games, company, execs), etc.)
- Consumer Publicity (B2C editorial, media relations, talent/influencers, community speaking, etc.)
- Digital Platforms (Scopely social channels, corporate website, third-party platforms, etc.)
- Internal Comms (global all-hands, intranet, comms channels, announcements, executive script writing, program rollouts, organizational changes, DEI partner, company presentations, etc.)
- The Scopely Brand (brand guidelines, collateral, environmental design, brand marketing, sponsorship, and video production); this role will be part of this pillar.
