Our client, an IT Consultancy, are looking for a Data Scientists to join the team on a permanent basis.


You will play a leading role in designing, developing, and supporting advanced AI and data‑driven solutions as part of a software delivery team.


Responsibilities


AI, Machine Learning & Agentic Systems:

  • Lead the development and deployment of Agentic AI Models, including autonomous workflows, tool‑using AI agents, retrieval‑augmented systems (RAG), and multi‑agent orchestration.
  • Build and optimise LLM‑based solutions


MLOps / LLMOps / Productionisation

  • Implement end‑to‑end MLOps , CI/CD for ML, monitoring, and drift detection
  • Build and maintain LLMOps frameworks, including model evaluation harnesses, safety testing, observability, and prompt‑versioning.


Data Science Delivery & Engineering

  • Lead data collection, cleansing, transformation, feature engineering, analytics, and visualisation.
  • Build high‑quality, reusable code aligned to modern engineering best practices.


Innovation & Thought Leadership

  • Stay current with advancements in AI, LLMs, agent‑based systems, MLOps/LLMOps, and cloud technologies.


Requirements

  • Must be fluent in English


Technical Skills

  • Experience with supervised, unsupervised, deep learning, NLP, embeddings, and multimodal models.
  • Expertise in LLMs, fine‑tuning, prompt engineering, vector databases, RAG pipelines, and model evaluation.
  • Hands‑on experience delivering Agentic AI systems.
  • Strong Python and SQL skills, with tools such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit‑learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow.
  • Experience with big data frameworks (Spark, Databricks, Hadoop) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Strong knowledge of software engineering fundamentals: APIs, microservices, Git, Docker, testing, CI/CD.


MLOps & LLMOps

  • Experience building production‑grade MLOps pipelines.
  • Familiarity with LLMOps tooling: evaluation harnesses, monitoring, prompt management, and safety layers.
  • Knowledge of vector stores (FAISS, Milvus, Pinecone), orchestration (Airflow, MLflow), and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in consulting, software engineering, or technology delivery.
  • Background in AI ethics or model governance.
  • Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
