John McNeil Studio is a branding and marketing studio looking for a Production Designer to join their team in Barcelona. The job is full time, hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote). As the Production Designer you will use your creativity and technical skills to produce high-quality designs across various print and digital mediums.

Responsibilities
Assist the creative teams with various design tasks, such as developing layouts, templates, resizing or cropping images, retouching, compressing, or converting files across multiple software programs (web/mobile/print).

Role
• Create, implement and maintain web graphics, animations, user interfaces, icons, templates and layouts for use in online advertising, web and mobile projects, print projects and presentations.
• Construct and maintain design, layout and formatting of PowerPoint decks and other media.
• Work with creative teams and project managers to ensure brand consistency across a myriad of digital properties.
• Work with creative teams and project managers to ensure the accuracy and continuity of delivery of final files within specified timeframes and to high standards.
• Step in on additional, day-to-day design assignments as they arise.

Required Qualifications
• Proficient in English (Intermediate level).
• Skilled in design tools, including Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, PowerPoint.
• 2+ years experience working as a production designer or designer who thrives in high scale output, in an advertising agency, print or design studio.
• Detail oriented with a keen eye for accuracy.
• A solid understanding of a variety of digital tools and trends.
• Ability to deliver quality design at high volume, often under tight deadlines, with minimal handholding.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• The ability to effectively communicate ideas, detailed design, and design rationale.
• Can work well independently and with remote teams.
• An up-to-date portfolio is mandatory.
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.

This is a full time job, 40 hours per week offering a competitive salary.
