This position offers a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to grow professionally while contributing to investment analysis, project management, and market research. You’ll collaborate closely with our investment and operations team, gaining hands-on experience in natural capital investment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investment Analysis: Support cash flow, IRR projections, and scenario analysis for land purchase decisions.
• Investment Management: Assist in designing and delivering quarterly/annual reports covering financial, climate, and community outcomes.
• Market Research: Conduct in-depth research on the Voluntary Carbon Market (VCM) and competitor analysis.
• Sales Support: Manage CRM tools and support the Sales team ahead of major events.
• Strategic Assistance: Provide operational and strategic support to our leadership team.

Required Skills:

• Advanced use of Microsoft Applications (Word, Powerpoint, Excel). 
• Previous academic or work exposure to modelling in Excel.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Ability to work autonomously and diligently in remote settings.
• Familiarity with Google Suite, amongst other remote working tools.
• Theoretical understanding of financial concepts such as IRR, NPV, and discount rates.

Desired Skills (Not Mandatory):

• Working knowledge of Spanish and/or Portuguese is a strong plus. German and/or French is a nice-to-have.
• Experience in a startup environment is a plus.
• Experience with financial analysis and/or CRM platforms.
• Familiarity with GIS tools (e.g., QGIS, ArcGIS) or coding (e.g., Python, VBA, R).
• Understanding of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet) & project finance reporting.
• Knowledge of the voluntary carbon market is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of natural climate solutions is highly desirable.
