We are looking for an experienced Strategy and business transformation Senior Project Manager with the desire and appetite to continue growing within the solar energy market as part of a company where he/she can have the vision of the company's strategy and be an active part of business development.

Reporting directly to the Country Director of our company, you will be responsible to lead and secure the correct implementation of the strategy and transformation projects cross all departments. This position is responsible to define and secure the scope of the projects, the timeline execution, the alignment cross departments, the budget control… Specifically, the Strategy Planning Project Manager will be accountable for (but not limited to):

  • Transformation/Innovation Projects coordination
  • Work with internal stakeholders to understand the challenges they face and collaborate to design innovative solutions for their business.
  • Lead project management activities such as project planning, creation of work breakdown structures, and change management control
  • Manage scope throughout all phases of the project life cycle. Maintains accurate program estimates, timelines, project plans, and status reports. Ensure achievement of project milestones.
  • Leads execution of multiple projects or manages an entire program
  • Act as lead communicator to internal and external stakeholders regarding expectations, resolutions, and prioritization. Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of developers, product owners, and subject matter experts.
  • Learns from project retrospective and applies the learning for future projects.
  • High impact opportunities identification, support decision making with viability studies.
  • Working closely with the business, ideating on new ideas, understanding requirements, and creating business cases to present to leadership
  • Stakeholders coordination, securing information, interdepartmental alignment, properly communication of project status, to mange the information and validation points to secure proper communications and the correct delivery of the project.
  • Ongoing analysis of projects to detect possible delayers, difficulties… to implement mitigation action plans and readjustment of scope.
  • Project viability study plans
  • Attend together the project opportunities that arise, managing the entire cycle from understanding the needs of business for the estimation of the project until the closing of the sale. Acquisition of new opportunities, development of alliances that help generate business. Upsell and crossell in clients and teamwork with other areas.

Knowledge, Skills and individual background

  • Minimum experience of 10 years in similar roles
  • Desirable experience in the Energy Market Sector or Strategic Consultancy
  • Proficiency in English
  • Strong relationship & stakeholder development skills – a Team Player in all senses
  • Excellent project management skills. Knowledge of agile project management advantageous
  • Strong communication, facilitation and influencing skills - ability to present and communicate to senior level and other audiences
  • Good understanding of Strategy & Transaction services and experience of delivering similar services in a Client facing role
  • Self-starter; able to work independently that is comfortable with taking initiative and ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Willingness to learn and adapt, cultural sensitivity and global mindset
  • Good command of the English language (verbal and written)
  • Strong Project Management experience and ideally experience of managing technical projects or relevant Product management experience
  • Experience of working in global teams with multiple stakeholders
  • Interest in innovation
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills needed to be effective in a fast-paced high-energy company.
  • Display initiative, self-motivation and deliver high-quality work while at the same time, meeting all deadlines for both internal and external customers
