In our Deepsea department, you'll find a dynamic group of individuals committed to exceeding customer expectations. Join us in this exciting role, where you'll collaborate with among others service (sales) engineers, service coordinators, planners, and business development managers, all working together to deliver exceptional service.


These are your tasks and responsibilities.

As a Business Development Manager, your mission is to strategically advance the business performance, cultivate growth, and expand the market presence of our Deep-Sea Services and Projects. In this crucial role, you'll lead efforts to position Radio Holland Europe as the preferred choice among our valued customers and esteemed business partners, including OEMs and integrators. With a proactive mindset and a talent for seizing opportunities, you'll play a central role in shaping our company's path forward. The scope of your work is international, with a primary emphasis on Spain and Portugal. Your main base of operations will be our office located in either Spain or Portugal.


Responsibilities:

  • Stay updated on market developments and respond proactively.
  • Negotiate equipment sales, contracts, explore partnerships, and drive sales growth.
  • Lead sales teams for direct and indirect customer segments.
  • Develop geographic expansion and sales strategies.
  • Engage with clients at all levels to influence purchasing decisions.
  • Optimize processes, efficiency, and customer experience.
  • Act as ambassador, maintain relationships, and drive revenue growth.
  • Generate leads, ensure timely follow-up, and register opportunities.


Requirements

  • Proficient in NavCom technologies at all levels.
  • Comprehensive understanding of marine systems across projects and services.
  • Being flexible and responsive to changes in the market or industry landscape.
  • Anticipating challenges and actively seeking ways to stay ahead.
  • Having a forward-thinking mindset to anticipate future trends and opportunities.


This is what we ask of you:

  • Proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese language is a must.
  • Experience in developing business and sales strategies.
  • Master’s relevant technical and business processes.
  • Is experienced in managing and negotiating high value projects, technical projects and contracts and their terms and conditions.
