Position summary
As a Front Office Intern, I support the Front Office team in delivering seamless and personalized guest experiences. I assist with guest check-ins and check-outs, manage reservations, handle inquiries, and help coordinate special requests. This role allows me to gain hands-on experience in front desk operations while contributing to exceptional service for every guest.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with guest check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments
- Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications in the system
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
- Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure room readiness
- Support daily administrative tasks, reporting, and record-keeping for the Front Office
- Gain hands-on experience in front desk operations and customer service excellence
- Currently pursuing a degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional guest service
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Basic knowledge of front desk operations and reservation systems is a plus
- Proactive, eager to learn, and adaptable to different tasks and challenges
- Fluent in Spanish and English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
