At International SOS, our business development managers are responsible for market growth. They identify, research, and develop new market opportunities and provide solutions for our clients which help protect and safeguard their employees from medical and security threats.

Key responsibilities

As a BDM, you’ll be at the forefront of our growth strategy. Here’s what your role entails:

  • Client Engagement: You’ll be the first point of contact for potential clients, introducing them to our suite of services and solutions. Your ability to articulate our value proposition will be key.
  • Relationship Building: You’ll nurture existing client relationships and forge new ones. Your knack for understanding client needs and tailoring solutions will set you apart.
  • Proposal Development: Collaborate with our sales team to create compelling proposals. Your negotiation skills and business acumen will drive successful outcomes.
  • Market Insights: Stay ahead of industry trends, analyze market data, and identify growth opportunities. Your insights will shape our strategic direction.


About You

  • Extensive experience in consultative selling or business development within professional services or B2B.
  • Passionate professional; able to adapt and develop solutions to clients' needs with clear and decisive communication.
  • Global Mindset: we operate across borders and cultural awareness is key.
  • Excellent communicator: a natural networker and a team player, with a curious mindset.
  • Excellent numerical, written, presentation and oral communication skills.
  • Highly organised: exceptional organisational skills with the ability to successfully manage numerous clients simultaneously.
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish and English fluently. Portuguese language will be valued.
