The Role

We invite applications for an intellectually curious Junior Consultant to join our expanding Technology Transfer practice. This is an exceptional opportunity for a recent graduate to launch their career at the critical intersection of life sciences, technology transfer, and venture creation.

Based in Madrid, this position offers a front-row seat to the journey from "lab bench to boardroom." You will support our senior team in building tech transfer roadmaps and facilitating high-value partnerships between investors, research institutions, and industry stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and technology assessments to support the evaluation of early-stage scientific assets and innovations.
• Strategic Support: Assist Senior Consultants in the creation of commercialisation roadmaps, IP valuations, and innovation frameworks for university and corporate clients.
• Content Creation: Draft high-quality written materials, including sections of investment memoranda, commercialisation plans, and technical reports under the guidance of the senior team.
• Project Coordination: Help orchestrate consulting projects by tracking deliverables, timelines, and milestones, ensuring our team remains agile and responsive.
• Ecosystem Monitoring: Maintain a pulse on the global Life Sciences and Deep Tech sectors, monitoring emerging trends, policy shifts, and investment landscapes to inform client strategies.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Support business development initiatives and help maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the Spanish and European ecosystem, including Technology Transfer Offices (TTOs) and Venture Capitalists.

About You

• Educational Background: We primarily seek candidates with a BSc or MSc in Biomedical, Health, or Life Sciences. However, we welcome applications from other disciplines (e.g., Engineering, Business, Law) provided you can articulate a robust and compelling case for your specific interest in Technology Transfer.

• Language Skills: You are a native or bilingual Spanish speaker (C2) and possess professional fluency in English (B2 minimum, though C1 is preferred).
• Communication: You possess strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex concepts into clear, concise summaries.
• Analytical Mindset: You are a self-starter with a strategic approach to problem-solving and the ability to quickly grasp technical concepts outside your immediate academic focus.
• Digital Fluency: You have a keen interest in how organisations communicate, including a familiarity with digital and social media landscapes.
