Mind the Bridge is a global innovation advisory firm that empowers economies through entrepreneurship and innovation. Headquartered in Silicon Valley with offices in Barcelona, Seoul, New York and Milan, it has been working as an international bridge at the intersection of startups and corporates since 2007.
Mind the Bridge scouts, filters, and works with 10,000+ startups every year, supporting global corporations with open innovation initiatives that translate into curated deals with startups (PoCs, procurement, investments and/or acquisitions). The company also provides advisory services and benchmarking on innovation strategies and structures, and has developed MTB Ecosystem, an AI-powered open innovation matching platform for corporates and ecosystem hubs.
Your Mission
You will not just be "making things pretty." You will be designing with a clear strategic purpose. Your goal is to translate complex innovation concepts and corporate strategies into clear, compelling, and effective visual assets.
We are looking for someone who understands that great design is about communication, not just decoration.
What You Will Do
- Corporate Visual Communication (Cross-functional)
- Support the creation of presentation decks and digital collateral for international activities and global campaigns, ensuring alignment with business goals and local nuances.
- Support partners and clients with visual assets for their communication activities.
- Turn datasets and research findings into intuitive, visually appealing charts, graphs, and infographics that tell a clear story at a glance (data visualization)
- Collaborate with the wider team to ensure consistency across channels.
- Social Media & Digital Storytelling
- Apply audience-targeted strategy to qualified lead generation and visual content creation.
- Create high-impact digital assets for social media (LinkedIn, X, Instagram) that drive engagement.
- Support the team in drafting design-ready copy for visuals, ensuring alignment with brand voice.
Hard Skills & Tech Stack
- Design Software: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) OR Affinity Suite.
- GenAI Proficiency: You are comfortable using AI tools (e.g., Midjourney, DALL-E) and possess strong prompting skills to accelerate workflows and generate concepts.
- Language: Fluent English (written and spoken) is mandatory. Proficiency in Spanish or Italian is a strong plus.
- Market-Savvy & Curious: You have a genuine interest in the tech, innovation, startup, and funding ecosystem. You’re familiar with industry jargon, key players, and competitors’ digital strategies, and you actively benchmark visual and content trends to inform your work.
- Brand Guardian: You have a creative mind, but you understand the discipline of following Brand Guidelines. You know how to be innovative within a framework.
- Eye for Detail: You spot alignment errors, color mismatches, and typos instantly.
- Short-Form Copywriting: You will write catchy headlines, engaging social media captions, and clear calls-to-action (CTAs) that complement your designs.
- Content Synthesis: You can take a complex 10-page report and summarize the key takeaway into a single, punchy sentence for an infographic.
- Experience with Motion Graphics or Video Editing (Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, or similar).
- Experience in copywriting.
- Proficiency in Italian or Spanish.
