Our client, a world-leading OEM in the solar and energy storage industry, is seeking a dedicated Distributed PV & Battery Energy Storage (BESS) Procurement Specialist to join their dynamic EMEA team.

This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in sourcing and supplying the core components that drive residential solar and storage adoption across two key European markets.

Your Mission:

Based in the vibrant city of Madrid, with a hybrid work model, you will be the procurement authority for the Spanish and UK markets. You will develop and execute sourcing strategies for photovoltaic modules, inverters, and battery storage systems, ensuring a resilient and cost-effective supply chain for a rapidly growing product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement local procurement strategies for residential PV & BESS components in Spain and the UK.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers, building strong, strategic partnerships.
• Lead end-to-end procurement activities: from RFQ and negotiation to contract management and supplier performance review.
• Analyze market trends, pricing, and supply chain risks to inform decision-making and secure competitive advantages.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Logistics teams to ensure alignment between supply and demand forecasts.
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure on-time delivery, superior quality, and excellent after-sales support.

What We're Looking For (The Ideal Candidate):

• Proven experience in a procurement or strategic sourcing role, ideally within the solar PV, battery storage, or renewable energy sector.
• Strong technical understanding of distributed energy products: PV modules, inverters, and lithium-ion battery systems.
• Demonstrable experience in supplier negotiation and contract management.
• Professional proficiency in both Spanish and English is essential.
• A commercial mindset, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, able to work autonomously and as part of a distributed international team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
