Working in our Architecture, Intelligence and Technology Department (AI&T), you will play a key role in the configuration of our new Global MDM Team.

We are looking for a MDM Functional Analyst to act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams in a global Master Data Management (MDM) implementation. This role will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements, translating them into functional specifications, and ensuring that the MDM solution meets organizational needs.

The Functional Analyst will work closely with Finance experts, Data Owners, and Data Stewards to define use cases, workflows, and governance rules that enable high-quality master data management across the enterprise.

As MDM Functional Analyst, Your Primary Responsibilities Will Be

• Collaborate with stakeholders (Finance experts, Data Owners, Data Stewards) to gather and document business requirements for MDM processes and domains (Customer, Product, Vendor, Finance, etc.).
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and ensure alignment with the MDM platform’s capabilities.
• Define and validate business rules, data workflows, and governance processes to ensure data consistency and quality.
• Partner with the MDM Architect and Integration teams to ensure requirements are correctly implemented in the technical solution.
• Conduct fit-gap analysis to assess platform capabilities against business expectations.
• Support data quality assessments and ensure that cleansing, matching, and enrichment rules align with business needs.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, ensuring requirements are well captured in user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and expectation management.
• Support testing phases (SIT, UAT), validating that the solution delivers expected functionality and business value.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Functional Analyst or Business Analyst in MDM or large-scale data-driven projects.
• Strong understanding of MDM concepts, including data domains, governance, workflows, and data quality.
• Experience translating complex business needs into functional and non-functional requirements.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working within cross-functional global teams.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to perform fit-gap analysis and process mapping.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, particularly with Finance experts, Data Owners, and Data Stewards.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with leading MDM platforms (e.g., Informatica, SAP MDG, Reltio, Stibo Systems, etc.).
• Knowledge of data governance tools and frameworks.
• Exposure to ERP/CRM systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, Dynamics) and their master data models.
• Background in data quality management or stewardship activities.
