What we look for?

We are looking for a Senior Java Backend Developer to join our team and work on exciting projects for one of our clients in the banking sector.

Location: Hybrid in Madrid

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead by example in a cross-functional team, guiding junior developers and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions
- Design and implement complex back-end systems, leveraging your expertise in Java, Springboot, and Service-Oriented Architecture
- Drive technical discussions and contribute to the evolution of our software engineering practices, with a focus on back-end development and a keen interest in front-end integration

Mandatory requirements:
- Proven track record of delivering complex software projects using Java and related technologies, with a focus on back-end development
- Strong technical leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior developers
- Excellent understanding of software design patterns, principles, and best practices, particularly in the context of back-end development
- Experience with DevOps concepts, including Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), automated testing, and monitoring
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions
- Affinity for front-end development, with experience in technologies such as React, JavaScript, and Typescript
- Master´s or bachelor´s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience
