Applications Engineer / Project Engineer / Technical Sales Engineer required to join a global leading engineering Manufacturer.

The successful Applications Engineer / Project Engineer / Technical Sales Engineer will work closely with the sales, product management, and engineering teams, supporting technical applications from opportunity identification through to concept development, quoting, validation, and post-sale support for compressed air projects.

The Applications Engineer / Project Engineer / Technical Sales Engineer will ideally have experience in technical engineering applications, technical support or sales within compressed air, fluid power systems or similar with CAD software proficiency Fluent French speaking is essential.

Applications Engineer / Project Engineer / Technical Sales Engineer

• Collaborate with sales and product teams to identify customer application needs and deliver tailored technical recommendations.
• Provide in-depth technical training and application support to customers and distribution partners across the EMEA region.
• Prepare detailed technical quotations, proposals, and costings for bespoke compressed air and industrial equipment solutions.
• Support customer validation processes and product feasibility studies, including contributing to design input and testing protocols.
• Act as the primary technical liaison throughout the full product lifecycle, ensuring technical accuracy and high levels of customer satisfaction.

Applications Engineer / Project Engineer / Technical Sales Engineer Requirements:

• Experienced in applications engineering, technical support, or internal sales or design within manufacturing, capital equipment, or industrial sectors.
• Strong knowledge of compressors, rotating equipment, or fluid handling systems is highly desirable.
• Proficient in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Experienced with ERP and CRM platforms such as SAP and Salesforce; strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Technical mechanical engineering degree, HND, BEng or similar is advantageous.
• Fully remote role with regular customer visits across Europe, mainly Germany, Spain and Italy.
• Fluent French speaking is essential.
