Role Overview

The Localization Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the successful planning, execution, tracking, delivery and closure of client projects. The Localization Project Manager works with the client to understand requirements and engages the global team in the fulfilment of these requirements, crafting client solutions based on the Welocalize's Four Pillars of Customer Service, Quality, Innovation and Global Teamwork.

The ideal candidate is a driven but steady individual, capable of building relationships across the entire project team, with the flexibility and energy to thrive in a dynamic environment.

Main Duties

- Project planning, scoping, requirements gathering and validation with client

- Identifying and working with the relevant client and internal stakeholders to plan and resource projects appropriately in terms of quality, cost, and schedule requirements

- Risk analysis and contingency planning (plan-do-check-act cycle)

- Leading the internal and external team to successful execution and delivery of client projects

- Creating schedule and monitoring timeliness of delivery

- Managing the budget and controlling project costs

- Establishing and nurturing relationships with the customer, internal teams and external suppliers

- Overseeing project activities and ensuring resolution to any problems that may arise (corrective and preventive action)

- Actively seeking ways to optimize delivery, client satisfaction, quality and profitability

- Reporting, both in written and verbal form, to internal and external stakeholders regarding project scope, financials, progress and status, formally and on an ad-hoc basis as required

- Ensuring finance systems are kept accurate and up to date

- Process documentation and knowledge management

- Ensuring profit of project is maintained through the management of margins

Measures of Success

Delivery of services in line with core KPIs for project management, which include but are not limited to:

- Client satisfaction

- On-time delivery

- Cost control and profitability

- Revenue throughput

Requirements

- Education Level: Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a college or university in related filed

- Proven project management experience in a fast-paced, client-centric environment, in the translation or localization industry

- Knowledge of the translation industry and a keen interest in its technology, process, competitive landscape and emerging trends

- Demonstrated success at managing large accounts and/or projects

- Curiosity and creativity to question existing processes and approaches and innovate new ones

- Proven experience in development of processes and ideas

- Experience in financial management and budget to actual management

- Customer relationship management and business development skills to drive organic growth

- Must be available to travel for work related commitments

What you’ll do:

Tu misión en Netquest

En Netquest buscamos a un Project Manager Junior para nuestro equipo en Barcelona que quiera asumir un rol estratégico dentro de nuestra organización. Esta posición trabaja estrechamente con nuestro equipo de Ventas y colabora con todas las áreas de producción dentro del HUB (Fieldwork, Scripting, Data Process, etc.), garantizando la coordinación y ejecución eficiente de los proyectos y contribuyendo directamente al éxito de nuestros clientes.

Cuáles serán tus responsabilidades:

• Establecer y mantener una relación sólida con los clientes.
• Revisar los materiales proporcionados por el cliente en términos metodológicos y, en caso de detectarse errores o inconsistencias, realizar la mejor recomendación técnica posible.
• Gestionar proyectos, tomando el control desde su aprobación hasta la entrega de los resultados. Interactuar y coordinar con diferentes áreas como scripters, QA, Data Process, entre otras, para asegurar el correcto desarrollo y ejecución.
• Garantizar la entrega de proyectos con altos estándares de calidad.
• Ser el interlocutor con el cliente durante la ejecución de los proyectos, atendiendo las posibles necesidades que puedan surgir en dicho proceso.

¿Cuál será tu misión?

✏️ Identificación de oportunidades de financiación para proyectos de I+D+i: ayudas, bonificaciones, deducciones fiscales, certificaciones.

✏️Análisis, preparación y gestión de proyectos de deducciones fiscales y subvenciones por actividades de I+D+i.

✏️Control y seguimiento de cartera de clientes.

✏️Seguimiento de los procesos.

✏️Redacción de memorias técnicas y económicas de los proyectos asignados.

✏️Presentación de expedientes y seguimiento ante los distintos organismos responsables.

✏️Justificación de las actividades financiadas.

Requisitos del puesto

¿Qué perfil buscamos?

Formación: Ingeniería Industrial, Ingeniería Química, Bioquímica, Biotecnología, o titulaciones similares. Se valorarán otras especialidades técnicas relacionadas y conocimientos en finanzas y fiscalidad.

Habilidades personales: capacidad de trabajo en equipo, capacidad de análisis y redacción, buena capacidad de comunicación. Buscamos un perfil proactivo, con capacidad de autogestión y de alto compromiso en el desempeño de sus funciones.

Habilidades técnicas: manejo del Paquete Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Otros: inglés.

JOB DESCRIPTION - FREELANCE ACCOUNT / PROJECT MANAGER (Retail & Experiential projects) 

Purpose: To be an utterly dependable support for the whole team – client and agency.

Key responsibilities 

• Project management of the internal processes for a variety of projects. Predominantly working on luxury retail and experiential toolkits. 
• Financial management of all client and agency expenditure according to the agency’s best practice on individual projects - (note a more transparent/accessible finance system is being set up to facilitate this).
• Ensure best practice for meetings (everything from cosmetic presentation if in person or via presentation, production of agendas, contact reports, all feedback addresses, correct people in the room).
• Internal communications best practice to ensure that all the senior parties are appraised of current situation and future requirements
• Be a knowledge center on a specific brand (e.g. knowledge accumulation, being the physical repository for all items relevant to that brand, conducting competitor reviews where relevant)
• Enhancing the reputation of the agency with the client through added-value initiatives (unexpected by the client).
• Build trust-based, mutually respectful Client relationships
• Build trust-based, mutually respectful relationships with all agency departments

Core requirements

Skills

• Strong internal and external communication skills 
• High level of English is essential (all agency + client comms are in English), Spanish is a plus but not essential.
• Ability to write a clear creative brief and support in production briefs
• Ability to multitask and get it done – no matter what
• Ability to lead internal (and where appropriate) external meetings
• Anticipate and proactively tackle problems
• Good numeracy skills
• Confident and able to present a point of view on strategy and creative work
• Excellent eye for detail, vigorous checking skills
• Excellent project management skills - ideally with a Project management certificate (but not essential).

Knowledge

• Understanding of agency process and how to implement and improve where needed
• Understanding of project details including timings, budgets and team management 
• Ability to run several projects and have the knowledge/foresight to flag any issues in advance i.e product availability, resourcing, budget over run
• Confident in the use of Slack, Google Suite, Microsoft etc.

This is for a full time freelance commitment, working CET 9-6pm, Monday to Friday across various projects. Initial 1-3 month term with high likeliness to extend for longer term or into a perm role.

We are based in Barcelona and attend an office once a week, the other 4days are remote. We ideally want candidates in Barcelona but for the right profile we would consider remote work (within EU).
