Job Overview
As Front of House Supervisor, I will manage the daily operations of the Front of House team, ensuring a smooth and personalized guest experience. Through proactive leadership, I will address guest needs, foster cross-department collaboration, and maintain high service standards.
My responsibilities include overseeing check-ins and check-outs, handling inquiries, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. I will support the Front of House Manager in upholding Aethos values and driving operational excellence while contributing to wellness, sustainability, and financial performance to exceed guest expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, including check-ins, check-outs, arrivals, departures, and guest interactions
- Guest Experience: Manage the guest journey with warmth and precision, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns promptly and professionally
- Philosophy & Values: Act as a champion for self-betterment and well-being, embracing the Aethos philosophy of creating a "sanctuary" for guests
- Sustainability: Promote eco-conscious initiatives, reduce environmental impact, and encourage guests to participate in sustainable activities
- Financial Performance: Drive upselling initiatives, manage PMS end-of-day processes, and conduct nightly audits to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Team Support: Guide the Front of House team, overseeing recruitment, training, onboarding, and performance assessments
- Departmental Coordination: Collaborate with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Security to enhance satisfaction and ensure seamless service
- Events & Reservations: Oversee reservations and events operations, ensuring exceptional service standards from inquiry to follow-up
- Previous experience in similar roles, preferably within luxury hospitality
- Proficiency in hotel management systems (e.g., MEWS, Revinate, WAY, HUBos) and MS Office
- Exceptional communication skills in English and Spanish; additional languages are a plus
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, days, weekends, and holidays
- The role requires standing and walking for extended periods in a dynamic environment
